Yes, I have NC'd for this. Blush

Anyone else getting irritated by constant irritation due to the heat? The sweat causes 'paper cuts' and it stings when I have a bath etc.

Roll on autumn!!!

I got through a 2 hour meeting with a mini ice pack in each bra cup today. I also announced to the room that I had ice packs in my bra. (Had to, looked like a badly made Lego woman.) Too hot to feel any shame.

I don't have a problem with my minge, but sweat rolling down my butt crack is truly dreadful.....I can't stick a panty liner down there, can I? Shock any tips for my bum hell? I did wonder if folded up kitchen roll might be ok but I tried it and felt like I had a brick shoved in there. I was walking along like John bloody Wayne after a very long day's stallion taming. God knows how folk cope with g strings and those 2 cm wide thongs which sit in your crack......maybe I 've got a Princess and The Pea bum situation?

It was cool, sometimes cold and raining where I was today.

Er, nope.

Love it, still loving it. Had to spend 6+hours on tubes and trains yesterday, still love it. It could carry on forever as far as I'm concerned, if only water supply wasn't an issue.

Yep v sweaty pants and sweat smell here too. Relatively thin so not always related. Don't have the running/cuts but underwear soaked in sweat 😷😳😓 sorry if that's tmi!! I'm spraying deodorant around area (obviously not 'inside') plus panty liners and changing a couple of times a day. Pretty sure it's hormonal as only in recent years have I been this sweaty down there...not like it pre-kids/ in teens/20s. Currently breastfeeding which I'm sure I'm making me extra hot and sweaty all over!

microfibre cloth run under cold tap and wipe away. If not possible are wet wipes a possibility.

Mr Tom's blister powder for chafing literally anywhere. You can get it online, cheap, works fantastically well. I run v v v long distance and never get chafing or blisters.

H&M cooling shaping shorts are fantastic. Not too long, don't roll down or up and really are cooling. I have worn a pair all day today under a t shirt dress and have no dampness issues.

I cannot understand anyone enjoying sweating in this heat! It’s unbearable.
The sooner it does one the better!

But as I said above... I'm not sweating much. Not in the way described in this thread. I shower once or twice a day, spray on deodorant, dress in cool clothes, go to the gym, etc... I'm really not finding it that bad at all.

I've been in really, really hot countries where it was 35 degrees in the early morning and into the forties by the afternoon. That was too hot to cope with. This is lovely.

I've spent most of my life putting up with the shitty, depressing, grey, wet weather we get here. I can't remember a summer this good in my nearly 40 years of life. I am LOVING this.

I do like it just nice / not too hot a warm breeze and rain overnight!
It’s been a year of extremes! Neither is good

I am thin (8 stone) and I swear through my knickers constantly at the moment.
Also have a sore and irritated vulva from all the heat and sweat and chafing.
Am having two cool showers a day and wearing 100% cotton pants and loose skirts and dresses (no shorts or trousers)

For those wondering if we're all overweight with this 'problematic' sweating, I'm size 12. So not thin but not huge. Some of us are more prone to it than others, have some sympathy. I still got chubrub when I was size 8/10.

EggysMom · 24/07/2018 21:18

I have under-boob, under-c/s-apron and top-of-bum-crack sweat. I've been known to use roll-on deodorant under the boobs, and just hope for the best with the others. I've learnt not to walk more than 10 yards in a skirt or dress due to chub-rub, so I wear trousers all year round now.

Bleurgh. Do you think men have sweat problems like this (other than round the balls, which they seem to get all the time, or at least that's their excuse for fiddling with them!)

Lapin what’s your public hair situation? Just wondering if this is one of the times where hair is an advantage as it’s, you ) is, natural to be hairy. I’m large. Well overweight. I’m sweating a lot. Upper lip, neck, forehead, nethers. None of it is irritating me. I get some sweat in my knickers, but nothing awful. I wear linen and cotton and am fine.
Also I love the heat - sweat is a small price to pay.
