AIBU to think the multi-billion pound FA should contribute a generous amount of their World Cup profit to Women's Aid or DV shelters until their fans stop beating up women? No it's not their fault men attack women but rather than brushing the issue aside they should maybe embrace the fact that their sport contributes to so much violence, rather than sticking their heads in the sand?

I don't want alcohol companies to make a shiny donation to charity which they get lauded for.

I want them to stop lobbying Parliament against actual policies such as minimum alcohol pricing.

YABU. It's not the FA's fault that some of the fans are horrible people.

It's not, but it that's not stopped them from setting up and running the 'Kick it Out' anti-racism campaign (ineffective though it often is). Not all football fans are racist, but it's been recognised that there's a significant minority who are, so they're trying to change that.

Maybe the FA should pay for anger management courses. Some men want to change and don't know how and were brought up being taught only how to bully others by parents. They could run a campaign to show that getting help shows that you are strong and not getting help shows that you are weak and unmanly. We need to start a cultural shift on this matter.

Should we force female orintated groups to give money to shops since statistically women do the nost shop lifting or should shops be able to charge woman more because as a group they steal more?

Well when the crime of shoplifting adversely affects the health and well-being of in 1 in 4 men, has thousands fleeing from their home for fear of physical violence or rape and results in the murder of 2 men per week then maybe we could do that?

Good to see the same old apologists on a thread about violence against women, kudos for comparing the effects of shoplifting to the affects of domestic violence

Jacques I don't know who you think k I am but I assure you o don't have the power to 'force' the FA to do anything. I'm saying they should, out of their own merit, not that they should be forced (and yes I have contacted them about this).
