I just feel like starting a grumpy thread for other people who sometimes find modern life a bit off kilter

I don't want to go to weddings abroad that cost a bloody fortune, use up loads of annual leave, and are often for a couple that have been living together for ten years and have 3 kids, a mortgage and a dog.

I want to see young and healthy people giving up their seats on public transport for elderly, or even late middle age people. You're young, you've more energy, I did it when I was your age.

Any other grumpy old lady views posters would like to share.

Oh I'm very easy. I hate everyone and everything and am getting worse. My mantra in life is 'leave me alone'. Not everyone takes any notice though Hmm

I first realised the depth of my grumpy old ladyness when walking, as fast as possible, along our crowded saturday high street silently chanting my mantra 'get out of my fucking way'. Head down, forging forward, straight into a guy in a wheelchair. Who promptly gave voice to my interior monologue "get out of my fucking way". Instant karma. Serve me right.

A woman rammed a buggy into my legs from the side yesterday because she’d assumed I would stop to let her in front of me and I being deaf hadn’t noticed her. I mean WTF?

@OhTheRoses - Everything else above and from my mum "they shouldn't be allowed to play for England if they don't know the words to the National Anthem"

Tell your mum to stand in the middle of a field and get someone to play the music of the national anthem very loud through four different loudspeakers at different distances from her. Then see whether she can sing it.

Grumble No 2 - Please, please, if you are not disabled in any way, please do not use the disabled parking spaces in car parks. Thank you, that's it really, (from a wheelchair pusher).
