We’re having bangers mash beans and onion gravy for tea.
She insists peas are superior to beans and gravy should never be combined with beans as you can’t have two sloppy things on the plate. She is so very very wrong.

I'm a big fan of sausage, mash and beans with gravy! And to make it worse for other people, I mix it all together - so good!

Well clearly beans are vastly superior to peas, so YANBU there.

Not quite sure about the gravy with it though I could probably handle a couple of spoonfuls on the bangers...

I'm a northerner so it is in my DNA to have gravy on most things, but I draw the line at bakes beans. Grim.

Here in Central Scotland I LOVE LOVE LOVE mince with beans and gravy. We call it poor man's mince. Love it x

Under normal circumstances I'd be in the no beans and gravy on the same plate...But I've been thinking that the answer is a mash barricade between the beans and gravy. I'm bloody hungry now!
