We’re having bangers mash beans and onion gravy for tea.
She insists peas are superior to beans and gravy should never be combined with beans as you can’t have two sloppy things on the plate. She is so very very wrong.

Normally I’d say you’re wrong and that sounds fucking disgusting but I did say that about chips and gravy.... until I tasted chips and gravy quite recently. Chips and gravy is a thing for me now so sometime in the future sausage, mash, gravy and beans could be too but at the moment it sounds fucking disgusting.

No! I'm sorry but, sausage, mash, beans and THICK onion gravy is the best combination...if you're really hungry, add a spoonful of peas too! I'm not northern although my mum is, she won't eat baked beans though; never has, never will.
