To be excited about the World Cup starting!

I know FIFA and Russia and whoever is involved is horrible in some way... But it's the actual World Cup. Mexico v South Korea suddenly becomes hugely important to my life! England have a likeable squad and manager. Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. Spain sacking their manager yesterday.

It's so exciting isn't it!

Will also be interesting to see how well Belgium click. They have the players, but can Martinez get a good system (hopefully not!).

The first game doesn't really fill me with excitement but maybe it will be good. Sweden at 11/10 to beat South Korea looks pretty good value I think though.

I'm excited about the Belgium game as I'm off to see it at the Molineux with dp and a client. Wolves legends doing the half time punditry and a nice meal too. Plus DP's exW is Belgian for another of extra fun Grin

I thought the same and had a sneaky fiver :)

Of course I’m tutoring 7-9 tonight arrrrrrgggh.
I feel nervous already!

A4710Rider · 18/06/2018 15:05

My £5 has turned into a £10. For the Belgium game i'm going £7.00 on +2.5 goals and £3.00 on 2-0

DaffoDeffo · 18/06/2018 16:13

I was looking through the site for world cup chat - there is a world cup topic you know in Sports and none of you are in there! Grin

I am enjoying it a lot so far. Great when it becomes so open (when favourites lose out and some surprise performances from teams).

This has an AIBU title though so it's all good.

Belgium will score a few I think here

England will be plagued with flies tonight apparently.

Belgium could with some midges chasing them, very boring and slow.

The Panama fans are enjoying themselves.

ToffeeUp · 18/06/2018 17:08

user1471517900 · 18/06/2018 19:15

That was a super header by Stones and great follow up.

Such a shame for the keeper

Mark lawrenson is very dour.
Lots of stoppage time added on this half!

derxa · 18/06/2018 19:20

Good start England. I want them to win for a change.

The80sweregreat · 18/06/2018 19:24

Would be nice to see them win something!
Might see a few more flags up then.

user1471517900 · 18/06/2018 20:05
