To think Love Island is immensely skanky and shallow

What is the point of a reality show where the sole purpose is to exhbit the morals of an alley cat and get it on with complete strangers in order to win.

I do not understand why it's so popular. It's just a load of wannabes.

It makes me want to be sick- Ill tune into Celeb BB a few times to laugh, but Love Island... just yuck.

Its vile, I hate it. But my teenage kids love I unfortunately.

I've been watching it but I agree with everything you said. I just can't stop.

Had been thinking I was the only one...I'm certainly no angel (or wasn't in the past rather) but the thought of watching this as entertainment is unbelievable.

Don't watch it then. Geordie Shore and Ex On The Beach are much worse so in comparison to some shows out there, it's tame

I loved the original Big Brother.

When no one knew what it was about and the biggest drama was Nasty Nick trying to swing votes.

Now reality TV just seems to have descended to people who will literally do anything to become famous.

It's beyond tacky.

I think TV shows which exist for no other reason than for strangers to cop off is pretty grim.

It is filth. I don't even watch the tv trailer.

Awful, just awful. I’m not averse to a bit of shite TV but this really is too much. Unfortunately my teen DS Is watching (I have absolutely no idea why) and I’ve been told off for passing comment 🤐

Skanky works, as does sleazy, low life and trailer trash.. Five minutes viewing was five minutes too much.

Watched a few minutes orange women in high heels and bikinis being picked by men . Seemed like some awful prostitue type set up. Why would you wear high heels with a bikini? Flip flops? The people seemed quite thick. I only watched a few minutes. Appreciate I am not their target audience

It's vile. I'm staggered at how many people I know who watch it.

This wasn't really meant to be a social debate but I'm extremely that teens find it so acceptable and engaging.

I love reality tv but I draw the line at this piece of crap which celebrates having the IQ of a sponge.

If you don't like it don't watch it. But plenty do, me included.

I always wonder what these people's grannies must think.

Every thing else seems to have descended to a level where people will do anything to become famous.

Entering a competion where you win if you couple up with a complete stranger and go further than everyone else, is beyond grim.

Genuine question.

You don't win by going further than anyone else though, the public vote for their favourite couples throughout love island and it's the ones who seem to get on most and are a good match. One couple did well last year and didn't have sex in there so it's not all about that.

People who do like it must be extremely challenged in terms of intellect and dignity
