I would curtsy for the Queen, Camilla and Zara. A nod of the head for Charles and a wink for Harry. The rest of them are beneath me

Just because she can do something, doesn't mean she will. I'm not a royalist (forgot the wedding was on and asked someone "What wedding?" on Saturday morning when they mentioned it) but I think it's a bit OTT to get carried away being all indignant that of course you won't curtsy when no one has even been asked to.

Well, as I'm highly unlikely to ever meet her, it's not something I give a lot of thought to!

babybythesea, no one is getting carried away, no one has said that she's insisted. It's just a theoretical question. MM is the first celebrity to be high up in the RF, we usually see celebrities at premieres and what not curtsy to the RF, it's just an interesting premise.

Fergie is lovely. Met her a few times. No way would she expect or want you to curtsy! Suspect she would lol if you exposed a boob

I remember curtsying to Princess Alice of Gloucester when she visited my school but I was only ten and we were rigorously drilled in it.

I could do the full court one down to the floor with straight back but I think I'd need a crane now to get me up again. I've never had to use it in reality, only to show people that I could do it 😄
