I wouldn't curtsy to ant of them tbh. She is apparently allowed to insist on this now.

I hope the queen isn't involved in any government fuck ups. I certainly didn't elect her. She should stick to waving and wearing tiaras.

Some people seem to have funny ideas about the royal family's powers.

From getting the country out of government 'fuck ups' to being able to insist that the peasants bow and curtsy before them.

The OP still hasn't enlightened us as to what will happen if someone refuses to curtsy to the wife of the Queen's grandson. I'd love to know.

Indeed, for an original op founded on a complete fallacy this thread has certainly gained attention. As I already posted above, there is no rule, no requirement and no expectation that anyone should curtsy or bow to any of the royal family.

But hey ho sheep gonna follow

Indeed there's no rule. And the Queen is not at all bothered which some people find hard to understand.

No but if, say, it was bin day and we were both putting our recycling out I'd probably manage a cheery wave

No but I wouldn't for the queen either.

Thatcher knew how to do it. That's the point. She overdid it.
The Prime Minister is supposed to visit the queen when she spends summer at Balmoral. The queen used to do the washing up with Harold Wilson's wife. Leaving aside for now the point that Harold Wilson should have been doing the washing up with Prince Phillip, Thatcher's visits to Balmoral were not harmonious. Thatcher was a snob and carrying out policies that damaged the people of the country. The queen apparently disliked her for that.

Wouldn’t curtsy (or bow) to anyone, ever. So no.

No one is asking you or anyone else to curtsey to Meghan Markle, to the Queen or even to me.

I wouldn't curtsy to anyone.
Ridiculous concept.
