Royal wedding outfits (because they are the best bit!)

Without being bitchy about actual physical attributes, who looked great and who didn't quite make the grade?

I thought the bride's mother's outfit was lovely. Amal Clooney's yellow dress looked fab. Pippa Middleton's dress was v pretty. I liked Victoria beckham's too. Some lovely hats here:

But Eugenie and Beatrice bless them both seem to have gone for quite unflattering dresses in my personal opinion. They are young, slim, pretty, have lovely shiny hair and have an unlimited budget - how do they manage to get the dresses wrong?!

oh and Chloe Madeley!! Come on where was the jacket and bra. Totally inappropriate and probably attention seeking.

I didn't spot any more of the cousins from the Spencer side but I'm sure they would've been there. One of Earl Spencer's twin daughters wasn't pictured which was a bit odd, but his other children are all fairly young so maybe they weren't invited to the church ceremony. It would've been quite dull for them anyway - poor Viscount Severn looked very bored!

I am sure the cousins from the Spencer side were there. Shame we didn't see any pictures but I guess they are not as "interesting" as the celebs.
Yep I noticed one of the twins didn't come - maybe she was abroad to study or something. Nice to see that Earl Spencer's ex-wife Victoria was invited.

I just had to Google Priyanka Chopra as I had never heard of her and only just realised she wasn’t another member of the cast of Suits. She is such a huge international star! Shame then that her lilac suit outfit was really unmemorable. I read an Indian journalist bemoaning the fact that she had missed her chance to wear and promote an Indian designer and I have to agree. But then I guess Indian clothes are boring to her whereas quintessentially British Vivienne Westwood probably seemed like fun for this occasion.

Priyanka is so beautiful that she didn't need the fussy neckline on that suit. Something more simple would've looked stunning.

Serena probably looked bored because she couldn't Instragram her way through the wedding. I noticed a lot of the American celebs took pictures and blabbed on social media before and after. Bit crass.

Now the blue dress has been found PLEEEEEEEASE will one of you clever lot find me the pink one ?

Did anyone see the Duchess of Westminster, Natalia Grosvenor? Unconventional but I loved her individual style and gutsiness in wearing a bright red maxi dress with zebras on!!

Yes one of the suits cast twittered afterwards about someone next to him having halitosis

Wow yes Duchess of Westminster looked eccentric but awesome, liked her daughter’s peacock dress too, though perhaps it wasn’t the best fitting.

Must add that this was my favourite pregnant guest (Jonny Wilkinson doesn't look too bad either ...)

I just saw that Sara Parker Bowles was wearing The Vampire's Wife - the trendy label by Nick Cave's wife.
Same for Charlotte Reilly - didn't really like her dress, I thought it was too dark for a sunny spring wedding.

Fwiw I hated Oprah’s and Serena’s dresses. Too tight & the colours were a bit meh on them

I think the woman is orange is the widow of one of Charles' close friends - and their boys are all friends. Just can't remember the name!

I've never seen anyone look good in dusky pink.

It just doesn't work on any skin tone.

I said it somewhere. I thought both dresses were awful - sort of bandage pink. Oprah's was too tight round the bust.

I totally agree that Oprah looked awful and Serena not much better. Apparently Oprah had Stella McCartney run her up something overnight, the night before the wedding because she had brought over a cream dress that looked too wedding-y. Oprah was thanking Stella all over Twitter. Well, all I can say is... Stella, love, it didn't do your company any favours! Far far too tight.

Dusky pink is the most gorgeous colour but suits too few people.
