Royal wedding outfits (because they are the best bit!)

Without being bitchy about actual physical attributes, who looked great and who didn't quite make the grade?

I thought the bride's mother's outfit was lovely. Amal Clooney's yellow dress looked fab. Pippa Middleton's dress was v pretty. I liked Victoria beckham's too. Some lovely hats here:

But Eugenie and Beatrice bless them both seem to have gone for quite unflattering dresses in my personal opinion. They are young, slim, pretty, have lovely shiny hair and have an unlimited budget - how do they manage to get the dresses wrong?!

I thought Doria Ragland (Meghan's mum) looked fantastic. Her outfit was just right for the occasion and she looked so elegant. On another note I think she was also very courageous because she was mainly on her own and represented her daughter marvellously. I was very impressed with Doria - what a lady! I bet Meghan is so proud of her mum and vise versa.

Oh, that is nice SirVixofVixHall. Sorry to say I don't know who she is. Not one of the few repeatedly praise or castigated for their clothes anyway.

I apologise if someone already said this, but the beautiful pregnant mum in pink is Zoe Warren with her bridesmaid DD Zalie and she's Prince Harry's goddaughter. Her DH is Jake Warren who is a good friend of William and Harry.

For a woman in her dotage, I thought the Queen rocked her outfit. Just lovely.
Doria looked classy, liked camillas outfit.

I always look to see how the ones of a certain age/shape look as younger thinner ladies can carry off virtually anything.

I thought the Pink in Zoes dress was too strong.

I loved Lady Sarah Chatto, probably because invited as niece of Queen and isn't she close to Prince Charles?

Liked Sophie Duchess of Wessex, Victoria Lockwood, Doria, Camilla, Kate, Kitty Spencer andAmal. For a very pregnant person impressed at Zara's heels and her outfit was ok.

Hated Chloe Madeley and Victoria Beckham.

Wondered what Camillas daughter wore ? Her daughter in law didn't look great but was probably on trend or something!

Eugenie I thought the outfit did her no favours , compare it to her engagement dress , worried as to her bridal dress now ....

Personally, I thought that Gina Torres' outfit was ghastly and the hat totally inappropriate.

Kitty Spencer’s dress is one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve seen... Cressida Bonas, Blunts wife and Gina Torres’ dresses are gorgeous, too.

The blue spot number, is absolutely hideous, though.

I felt Ginas dress was too casual for a Royal Wedding.

Think it was the hat that made it like that Petalflowers. It was a very casual shape.

There was a lady in pale pink with a sort of maroon piping to it - very subtle. Then the hat she wore had arrow shaped feathers of pale pink and maroon and toning shades in between. Sorry if I haven’t explained it well but she looked utterly wonderful - no idea who she was.

Terribly disappointed in Priyanka Chopra’s church outfit - but then OMG her dress for the evening!!! She looked like a goddess!!

Lady Sarah Chatto, Kitty Spencer and Sophie Wessex - perfection. Beatrice - didn’t mind it, Eugenie - oh dear. Could that outfit have been any frumpier? Please god someone get those two a stylist.

Beatrice's outfit was very nice. Eugenie's channelling Jackie O was not a good look for her.
I didn't like Fergies outfit.
Some of the hats were gorgeous : Kates, Camilla and others whose names I don't know.

I haven't watched the full coverage where the celebrities arrive at the church, I've recorded it. Looking forward to watching it. On the Sky app they have 15 minutes of arrivals.

There was a documentary about the Queen last year (or maybe the year before for her 90th) that interviewed several members of the family while they watched old home movies, and Sarah Chatto came across as absolutely lovely.

Tom PB and his wife (Sara Buys) have split but they were there together. I spotted them. His wife is part of the fashion crowd so her outfits tend to look a bit out there to most of us but presumably terribly on trend.

I didn't see Laura PB. Surely she was there - her daughter was a bridesmaid for William and Kate.

Eugenie and Beatrice looks bad, as usual. Beatrice's dress was too heavy and dark, Eugenie's didn't suit her figure at all, too boxy and high-necked for her shape.

Gina Torres looks amazing I thought, very sophisticated. Blunt's wife also very nice dress. Cressida Bonas excellent effort.

Sophie Wessex - fabulous outfit but as with lots of others it looked a bit warm and uncomfortable for such a summery day. She is very stylish but her clothes always look like they wear her rather than the other way round.

I was aghast at Chloe Madeley and Victoria Beckham was very predictable awful.

Amal Clooney, striking but totally ott.

Kate Cambridge - hmm, I can't make my mind up about that. I think she should have sprung for something new, and preferably not in a pale lemon that everyone thought was white in the sunlight!

I also saw Tom BP and his (still?) wife. Didn't see Laura BP but I am sure she was there.
Also saw Ben Elliot (Camilla's nephew) arriving with Tom BP.

Did anyone see photos of the Harry's maternal cousins? Fellowes and McCorquodales? I saw Kitty, Amelia and Louise Spencer but no other Spencer children? Think Lord Spencer has 4 more children.

I loved Amal C, Kitty Spencer (the shoes and dress especially), Doria, Sophie Wessex and James Blunt's wife.

Still baffled about Beatrice and Eugenie - how come they always get it wrong. Surely they have access to stylists and the best clothes. Such a shame.

Thought Cressida and Joss Stone's dresses were too informal and Victoria Beckham and Sarah Rafferty too dark. Not too keen on Troian Bellisario (wife of Meghan's co-star Patrick Adams, she was also in Suits) - her dress made her look pregnant and I don't think she is.

Oprah's dress was not flattering. Serena looked nice but looked bored in church. George Clooney's tie was awful.

Also not keen on Abigail Spencer's spotty number but most people seem to love it.
