Just that really! I thought I wasn’t particularly interested in Harry and Meghan but I’ve just watched the live stream and cried buckets, it was all so emotional and touching!!! I adored every moment!!!

I wanted to watch. DH wasn’t fussed. We both watched it bawling our eyes out.

I think it’s the Diana effect- not having your mum there on your big day- we know the history of them and watched them grow up. I don’t know any of them of course.

I didn’t expect to have a tear but I did.

I didn't expect to watch it but my two teen boys were watching it - and I got hooked. Thought it was an interesting, different royal wedding, and loved the choir singing stand by me. More casual and not so pompous. The looks when the Minister was speaking - William trying not to laugh was brilliant.

I walked myself down the aisle too - Ddad was dead and there was no one else ever going to do it, even though DM was still alive.

I need to back away - I'm still howling every time I think about them - over invested much? Grin

And I'm no royalist - WTF is wrong with me - Blush Wink

another one here who absolutely loved it. Lump in throat on a couple of occasions. I wish someone would look at me the way they looked at each other..

The whole thing was just beautiful

I did too. Long but Gorgeous

Me too, even dh was moved and he moaned about me wanting to watch the highlights at first. It was beautiful with so much that was ‘different’ especially the music.
The sight of that beautiful, brave lady sitting alone was our undoing.

I watched the rest last night and Charles taking Dorias hand ( in a come on i'll look after you kind of way) set me off again

Hahaha! I went round to my friend's house. I'd said to her I wanted us to watch the wedding and she was very 🙄. But when I got there, she'd got flags, hung bunting up, the TV was blaring and we cried through the entire thing, waving flags furiously! It was absolutely brilliant!

I thought it was an incredibly lovely wedding. A wonderful blend of romance, fun, elegance, beauty, pomp and ceremony.
