Just that really! I thought I wasn’t particularly interested in Harry and Meghan but I’ve just watched the live stream and cried buckets, it was all so emotional and touching!!! I adored every moment!!!

DD has made me get my dress out.
I made her ask me

proudbrows · 19/05/2018 13:45

Glad to know it’s not just me then! I just loved it all and it just made me feel so proud. A breath of fresh air, there is so much negativity in the world, it’s so nice to see something that brings everyone together and it was just so beautiful and heartwarming!!

Oh and the Bishop. Just amazing.

Aquamarine1029 · 19/05/2018 13:45

It's wonderful to see thousands upon thousands of people come together to celebrate love.

Same as LunaTrap here... I am no fan of probce Charles but that moment when he takes Megan by the hand to walk her to the altar was very very touching.

MissionItsPossible · 19/05/2018 13:49

LOL this was just like the Olympics, everyone grumbling about it beforehand, wondering why people are even giving the tiniest shit about it and then once it airs they are full of praise and how wonderful it was Grin

stourton · 19/05/2018 13:49

Cried my eyes out!

Queenoftheblitz · 19/05/2018 13:50

Yes I cried

derxa · 19/05/2018 13:57

I cried too surprisingly.

surferjet · 19/05/2018 13:59

Yep. I cried.

Silvercatowner · 19/05/2018 14:00

I wept for the beggers and homeless shifted out of Windsor lest they spoil the 'look'.

DBoo · 19/05/2018 14:02

Not been interested but cried hard when she entered the church on her own and cried for her mam all by herself.

Perfectway · 19/05/2018 14:04

The thing is you can’t cry at a real wedding for fear of showing yourself up. Plus they are never so romantic in real life. So I just let the tears flow and enjoyed it.

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 19/05/2018 14:04

Oh I cried a little when her Mum looked around at the church and saw her entering; it was beautiful.

SayImADreamer · 19/05/2018 14:04

Shes an american social climber with a faux ingenue girlish act despite being a hollywood actress pushing 40, marrying a tax subsidised aristocrat.

YABU.

PinguDance · 19/05/2018 14:04

Haha yes I cried at her walking down the aisle - I’ve never cried at a wedding in my life! Don’t know why it got me.

SuperSuperSuper · 19/05/2018 14:06

I was sad, I felt envy. Not because they're royal and privileged, but because they're genuinely in love and I'd like to be. I'm not bothered about marriage and I definitely wouldn't want a bells-and-whistles wedding, but I'd like a relationship with someone who's just right for me, as those two have.

Figgygal · 19/05/2018 14:07

My 6yo ripped the piss out of me crying

It was those bloody trumpets Grin

TheSpottedZebra · 19/05/2018 14:07

RJ she would. She'd be absolutely psychotic and she'd be so competitive with her DILs and with Carol Middleton.

goingatlast · 19/05/2018 14:08

I've just realised that Megan is the same age as Diana was when she died. She was so young.

HateIsNotGood · 19/05/2018 14:10

I listened to most of it on the Radio (it was a very radio-friendly wedding btw) - but yes I did shed an unexpected tear at the Mum of the Bride, and the Bride walking alone up the Aisle to be met by the PoW welcoming her and accompanying her onwards. Very symbolic of Women's Empowerment and a Wedding Ceremony Model I think many will follow.

I had to go watch it during the "Love is The Way" Speech - which was brilliant in itself - made more so by the varied expressions throughout the Congregation. Completely loved the open-mouthed WTF look on Zara (Snotty) Tyndall's face.

TonTonMacoute · 19/05/2018 14:11

I always cry at weddings! I didn’t watch it all, but it was enough Smile.

Thought she looked wonderful and the flowers round the doorways were beautiful.

Duchess of Sussex is a bit of a mouthful, have to make sure the dentures are well glued in!

NoSquirrels · 19/05/2018 14:12

It was all lovely. I only watched it because the DC wanted to - I have paid less than no attention to it other than rolling my eyes at the fuss and feeling vaguely sorry for Megan than her family have been arses.

But it was absolutely beautiful and full of emotion. God bless them. Hope they have a wonderful life together.

Dermot O Leary was hopeless, however!

mydogisthebest · 19/05/2018 14:12

I cried a lot. Meghan looked absolutely stunning and beautiful.
