Just that really! I thought I wasn’t particularly interested in Harry and Meghan but I’ve just watched the live stream and cried buckets, it was all so emotional and touching!!! I adored every moment!!!

ha it was the moment they little people party got out the cars and then the last shot of him before she came trhough that I suddenly found myself coughing then then then tearing up!
but I think it really stated watching the two brothers.such a uninted lovely pair.
and not to quote anyone here but "love" that what made me cry here. the love. :)

Sosogoodagain · 19/05/2018 15:12

I've not watched it...but the pictures are beautiful.

I find it deeply moving though, to see two people full of hope and trust in each other. Starting on a path together. A team. A partnership.

At the same time it brings back painful memories of my own marriage and how I completely misjudged exDH character.

Mixed emotions

Queenoftheblitz · 19/05/2018 15:12

Yes the love. I'm happily single but today i want someone to look at me in "that way" again.

RosaGertrudeJekyll · 19/05/2018 15:12

Well that's it, every time I'm see them walking like I that I think off the grim hideous walk behind thier deceased tragically killed mother.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 19/05/2018 15:15

@Queenoftheblitz, I hear you, it made me feel the very same.
I wonder if 'Doria', will be the latest new baby name ...

KevinTheYuccaPlant · 19/05/2018 16:06

I thought it was fabulous. Only caught glimpses of it, because I was cleaning a holiday cottage between guests and had the telly on while I was doing it (the sofas in the living room got a special amount of attention today!!), but I had a few more tears than I normally would at these things because my mother-in-law was a huge fan of the royal family, had met many of them, and would have been glued to it today - it was her funeral three days ago.

bobstersmum · 19/05/2018 16:08

I could've written your post op!

Queenoftheblitz · 19/05/2018 16:11

Ah Kevin thats sad. God bless your mil.

MissEliza · 19/05/2018 16:14

I swear Harry said 'thanks pa' as Charles left Meghan and went to sit down.
The Queen's outfit was amazing. I don't know why green and purple work but they really do. She did look a bit glum though.

Inkanta · 19/05/2018 16:17

Yes I also was moved Smile

CiderwithBuda · 19/05/2018 16:20

I just switched it in to see her dress and was glued to it. And there were tears. DS (16) took the piss.

I loved the moment between Zara and Mike Tindall. So sweet and you couldn’t help think about the baby they lost.

I thought Meghan looked beautiful. Charles was lovely with her walking her up the aisle and then with her mother.

Can’t believe Meghan is the same age Diana was when she died. Wow.

Loved the looks of love between them. And I hope they are happy together.

Queenoftheblitz · 19/05/2018 16:22

Yes harry did say thanks pa.
Makes you realise how young Diana was.

The80sweregreat · 19/05/2018 16:27

Kevin - I’m sorry for your loss.

I miss my mum and it’s been 8 years.
Time is a healer but it still hurts. Take care

NurseButtercup · 19/05/2018 16:28

We also noticed them looking and slightly smiling at each other at the mention of children.

I caught this as well....

Smile
bimbobaggins · 19/05/2018 16:28

Yes, I really surprised myself by crying. It made me really sad that she was on her own and her dad wasn’t there.
My ds dad died last year and it reminds me of all the things he’ll miss out on. I’m being ridiculous I know.

Ohlellykelly · 19/05/2018 16:29

I cried when Meghan got out of the car alone and walked up the steps and down the aisle alone. I just feel like if that was me I'd be looking to see where my friends or dh was for support. It seemed like a realistic and lovely wedding.

Like others I hadn't planned to actually watch it past seeing her dress but ended up watching the whole thing.

I also loved the singer as Meghan walked down the aisle, was beautiful and perfect.

The80sweregreat · 19/05/2018 16:33

Diana was 19 when she married Charles. So young but at the time I thought she seemed older if that makes sense?
They used to make her wear old fashioned clothes to look older. Different times then.

MycatsaPirate · 19/05/2018 16:37

I have been looking forward to this wedding all week and loved every single second of it.

The way Harry looked at Meghan just made me sigh. Absolutely wonderful to see so much love between them.

And the little pageboys and bridesmaids were utterly adorable! So, so sweet!

Inkanta · 19/05/2018 16:39

'I also loved the singer as Meghan walked down the aisle, was beautiful and perfect.'

Me too. Smile

MrsJayy · 19/05/2018 16:43

I thought there would be a picture on the steps with the family and bridal party that was the only thing I didn't like

Queenoftheblitz · 19/05/2018 16:44

Yes that solo female voice as she walked alone was haunting.

slowlywiltingpetal · 19/05/2018 16:51

I do feel for Doria, not in an anti MM way, but on the steps, alone, surrounded by Royal Family. She looked possibly daunted, it would have been nice if she had someone with her for support.

I do really hope the anti MM stuff stops, I'm shocked that people are commenting on the fit of her dress. I think the last week would cause anyone to lose weight. Am I alone in thinking the dress was gorgeous.

Before people speculate, no baby, they're off to a country with malaria for their honeymoon in a few months.

PickleJuice · 19/05/2018 16:58

Exactly this. Didn't think I cared. Wasn't sure I'd watch. Then I was gripped and bawling my eyes out.
Her Mum looking so proud and a little scared, Meghan walking in alone, Harry saying 'thanks Pa'. There were so many beautiful, genuine feeling moments.
Also saw the looks on their faces at the mention of starting a family...

HemanOrSheRa · 19/05/2018 16:58

I've just been rewatching Meghan walking down the aisle and bawling all over again Grin. I actually started crying when William and Harry got out of the car. But then did ugly, snotty crying when Charles was walking Meghan down the aisle. It was so lovely Smile. He was grinning and whispering to her. Then Harry said 'Thanks Pa'. Waaaaaaah!

MissEliza · 19/05/2018 17:05

There's nothing anti-MM about saying you feel sorry for Doria. It's a shame she has no one in her life she could share that with. I guess it's just the way her life has worked out. She did look a bit bemused by it all.
