I expected to hear laurel, since yanny isn't a word as far as I know, but I can only hear yanny. Even after staring at the word laurel and trying to make it fit. What gives?

I was hearing Laurel earlier and then went through to other room and it was still on radio, and I started hearing yanny! Weird.

How strange! On the radio this morning I definitely heard Laurel without a hint of Yanny but on this link I can only hear Yanny. I wonder if it's to do with the device you hear it on, or if it changes sound when being streamed or something. Not really sure what that means!

Well that's fucking weird! I listened to it earlier and could only hear Laurel while my DCs were adamant it was Yanny. Just listened again and can only hear Yanny! WTF is going on?!

Same as others, I heard Laurel earlier same as DH, now I hear Yanni and he still hears Laurel. I feel like it’s gaslighting me.

Hiphopster my DH can hear both at the same time, he says he just tunes his ear into it.
