The whole thing is a car crash. There is no way Meghan knows the extent of what she is getting into and i bet no one has told her. The whole thing seems really rushed and desperate, they haven't even been together that long. Don't see how an actress from California is going to embrace stuffy protocol laden Royal life, boring ribbon cutting ceremonies and draughty castles. I think she thinks she can be a moderniser and shake up the institution and get a bit political. The palace staff will shut her down and Harry will stand back and let them because that's all he knows. Give it a few years and she'll be back on that plane to L.A. with their kids Bikram and Karma. Mr Markle has behaved like an arse with those laughable photos and someone needs to step in and take control of this mess. At least her Mum might restore some dignity to the day.

Well it’s a complete mess. Feel so sorry for Meghan. She’s supposed to be centre of attention but now all people are going to be looking at is is her dad there, who’s walking her down the aisle. There does seem to be a distance between father and sons.

There was a huge gulf between his parents and him, he probably doesn't know any different and being the absent father a lot of the time probably didn't help. There was a documentary about the Queen recently which was saying what a distant mother she was to Charles but less so to Edward and Andrew.
