I don't know about you, but since the instamums posts I have really noticed the #AD on posts, and to be honest I had no idea I was so gullible. I loved the threads regards instamums and really think MN made a small change, well done us

How can you (Hi Natasha) talk about bullying when you did what you did to your ex bff with mental illness.Starting that disgusting hashtag and posting that smug photo of you and your other friends laughing?!
You seem to jump on every bandwagon(How Long were you a vegan for exactly?)

jamoncrumpets · 05/05/2018 16:54

What is NB’s schtick exactly? Surely she’s just flogging stuff via Instagram like the rest of em (Twinings tea, Quorn, Spatone). As far as I can see she isn’t remotely qualified in the field of mental health, so is one of thousands of women affected by mental health every day and no different in that regard to you or I.

But she needed a hook to be successful and attract followers/sponsors. MoD is ‘the midwife one’, DLAM is ‘the clothes horse one’ So we have NB ‘the mental health one’ - they’re like ninja turtles, or Spice Girls. Gotta have a schtick. Except, when it comes down to it, they’re all just flogging stuff.

HolyMountain · 05/05/2018 17:04

jam yup.

Essentially they’re all Sales people for the brands who pay them and give them free stuff.

MoD isn’t fighting for a cause, she’s pissed off that mnetters have expressed their opinion about her selling out to whoever offers her £££.

I’ve only heard of NB because of these threads and her treatment of her former friend.

The address was published because someone admired her taste in interiors and posted the house from Right Move iirc. , the house was on the market and immediately a number of us said it was inappropriate to show the address so it was removed . There was no malice intended , thoughtless and a bit hasty at best.

Who is NG?

Mumofkids · 05/05/2018 17:39

People said on previous threads that they seemed to have lost their joy and didn't seem that happy since the move, nothing particularly upsetting or offensive. And as they've since had plenty of date nights/nights away and published books I'm sure things are hunky dory! She was always moaning and he definitely seemed to get a pretty shoddy deal, but it's just social media, who knows or cares?

Mumofkids · 05/05/2018 18:03

@holymountain they were rightly pretty miffed when their addressed was public on their accounts and linked on here with how much money they'd made. But the houses were also fairly well published and no secret. This is one of the pitfalls, once you put that info out there it's there forever...

nipersvest · 05/05/2018 18:05

there's another thread specifically talking about the 'bullying' instacampaign, www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3240657-To-think-accusations-of-bullying-are-sometimes-used-to-shutdown-free-speech-on-MN

I think NG is possibly meant to be NB?

PavlovaPrincess · 05/05/2018 18:58

The campaign is blatantly an attempt by NG to get support and followers by whipping up attention about a huge parenting site, using emotive rhetoric, under the guise that she cares and is doing the honourable and brave thing by speaking out

I agree with this. And after reading the comments on NB and Mod's posts, I'm actually lolling at Caroline Hiron's comments about bullying after CH did that story about someone who dared to question her.

It takes one to know one, love.

How dare anyone on MN question or discuss these people?! 🙄 To paraphrase someone on one of the other threads, we should all just be happy for these privileged women who are also mothers, and buy everything they're trying to stealthily flog us and just STFU.

HolyMountain · 05/05/2018 19:04

Caroline Hirons loves to jump on a bandwagon and that she’s hopped onto this comes as no surpriseGrin.

Her behaviour when questioned or challenged by others is abhorrent, she is without doubt one of the most unpleasant and bullying bloggers going.

Mumofkids · 05/05/2018 19:28

When your 'pack' includes CH and NB and everyone else avoids it like the plague you want to be a bit worried.
They do just try and shut down any conversation. It's a very odd platform. It probably also detracts from the book sales.

jamoncrumpets · 05/05/2018 19:30

There's no need for a pack. It's so daft. Just take the criticism on the chin, god knows the perks must outweigh it, otherwise they'd all have day-jobs.

AdidasGirl · 05/05/2018 19:35

As I said the other day on the other thread..I commented on one of the Instamums Instagram posts about Mumsnet and us being trolls, jealous etc.
I simply replied that I post on both Instagram and Mumsnet and am not jealous, a bitch or a troll.
That instamum blocked me.

Pommes · 05/05/2018 19:37

Has anyone else watched NB's exaggerated ramblings about Mumsnet? So vague in her detail and nothing more than a ploy to boost her number of followers. I would love to hear Justine's thoughts on this matter.

HolyMountain · 05/05/2018 19:37

Who blocked you Adidas?

The Instamums threads had died down on here so I can't understand why any of them would want to resurrect it.

It does seem calculated on NB's part to get herself some more followers perhaps by starting the discussion up again on here and to try and get in with the other more popular Instamums like MOD.

And again, instead of MOD addressing actual valid concerns, it's just more vague wailing and outright lies about being 'bullied' (of course, she doesn't have to address anything said on here, but in which case, either say directly how she and FOD have been 'defamed' or button it).

They’re ridiculous to think anything will come of this. Gives them something to do though I suppose.

MrsJamin · 05/05/2018 23:21

I think NB is deleting even mildly pro-mumsnet comments! She's sitting on some stairs with an expensive looking handbag next to her saying she is "waiting for mumsnet". Perhaps if you actually asked mumsnet a proper question you'd get a proper answer, natasha!

RunMummyRun68 · 05/05/2018 23:24

God how cringey

Who does she think she is?

She will look back on this one day and cringe at how silly and false she was!

Reposting with a much better, photo that's in close up and without accidentally tagging posters here who happen to have the same usernames as instamums:

Apparently Natasha Bailie didn't write those words about mumsnet and bullying in the pink phone image that MOD posted. An Instamum with a much smaller platform did.

This instamum called Holly, blissfullywingingit posted this on her instastories (see photo 1).

So I had a look on Natasha B's post with the photo. And there in the comments is this comment by blissfullywingingit: photo 2

And then I saw under Natasha Bailie's post alongside the photo, right at the bottom: "words by mambearofone: photo 3. Which I either missed seeing before they've been added in an edit.

But the words in teh pink image has 'natashabaillie' running along the side. Which along with her posting it and MOD crediting Natasha, led us all to believe that Natasha Bailie wrote these words about bullying, declaring "we are in this together".

You couldn't make this shit up.
