I change my sheets every week. My OH said his Mother changed hers about every four weeks. Just wondered how often MNs change theirs.

Once a week x

Fireandflames666 · 30/04/2018 18:11

Once a week at least, but I hate the thought of not fresh smelling sheets so sometimes do it about three times a week.

halfwitpicker · 30/04/2018 18:12

God not this again.

Once a month. Shoot me.

kmc1111 · 30/04/2018 18:13

Everyday. DH and I share the bed with 4 dogs, so it’s necessary.

reachforthewine · 30/04/2018 18:14

Every day or two. I love the feeling of clean bed sheets.

Coralcolouredchrome · 30/04/2018 18:14

Sorry have only been a part of MN for a few months, didn't realise it had been asked a thousand times. Blush

At least weekly, it's the thought of the perspiration going into the bedlinen every night that does it for me.

MasonJar · 30/04/2018 18:16

YABU to ask.

Applejack70455 · 30/04/2018 18:16

Every day! How can you find the time to wash and dry sheets every day! Or do you just do 7 sets at the weekend?

ThinkingQueSeraSera · 30/04/2018 18:17

Weekly. Once a month is pretty disgusting IMO

itssquidstella · 30/04/2018 18:17

About once every three to four weeks. I shower in the evening which I think makes it a little less rank.

Coralcolouredchrome · 30/04/2018 18:19

reachforthewine I love the feel of fresh clean sheets, especially after a long relaxing bath, and clean jim jams.

Weekly for sheet and duvet cover, twice weekly for pillowcases. I get spots and my husband is a dribbler Grin

ilovesooty · 30/04/2018 18:21

Every ten minutes. I set alarms to do it during the night. Anything else is skanky. Grin

angieloumc · 30/04/2018 18:21

About once every four days, sometimes more in the summer.

FriendsDontLie · 30/04/2018 18:21

Twice a year 😱

I change my weekly, but only because I have loads of bedding sets I love and wouldn’t get through them otherwise!

Dwellerfromunderthesink · 30/04/2018 18:22

sooty 😀

00100001 · 30/04/2018 18:22

Hourly.

Anything less often is vile.

SneakyGremlins · 30/04/2018 18:23

I actually take mine out of the dryer, put it on the bed, take it off the bed and put it back in the washer to start the cycle again .

FriendsDontLie · 30/04/2018 18:24

MrsRon do you get spots if you change it less often? I was about to add this as a reason for changing mine once a week but thought it might be weird 🙈 I know it’s been too long when my face breaks out Blush

Asteria36 · 30/04/2018 18:27

Totally depends on how often the dog manages to get under the duvet or how sweaty DH is.

frankie001 · 30/04/2018 18:30

Once a week, on a Sunday . Do bedding, then have a bath and shower ready for the week. I shower most nights when I get in from work so I always get in clean!

Starryskiesinthesky · 30/04/2018 18:31

People who change them every day do you also change the duvet cover?

I could be bothered doing the sheet more often if I didn't have to do the duvet cover too!

angieloumc · 30/04/2018 18:35

I do change my duvet cover when I change sheets/pillow cases.
I put them in washer, dryer then back on bed after work. Have two summer sets and two flannelette ones for winter. Used to put them out in summer but once found a huge bee in a pillow case then that put me off!

CheeseCrackersAndWine · 30/04/2018 18:36

This is madness?! Several times a week?! Even once a week seems excessive to me... We are clearly slovenly pigs but we are all still alive so I won't get too worked up about it!
