....asks someone to remove Kay Burley or at least lob a shoe at her head from her labour suite?

Princess Charlotte is such a cutie!

JoJoTJ · 23/04/2018 20:49

I was just about to start this chat. I am furious about the hypocrisy around the new 'feminism'. Everyone's talking about it but look at the royal family and the general public. Baying over a woman in a suit and high heels who's just had a baby. Who on earth should have to go outside on a windy day after all those months of pregnancy and two other kids, just having been through labour? Which woman and which baby? My god.

Pootle40 · 23/04/2018 20:49

I always think where on earth is she hiding the maternity pad?!?!

RoseWhiteTips · 23/04/2018 20:51

Was she wearing a suit?Confused

Snowysky20009 · 23/04/2018 21:03

Both my labours were fast and easy. 3 hours and 1 hour 40. After my second I had a bath, cleaned it, disinfected it, sorted th clinical and was dressed with make up on within a hour and a half.

However I was very lucky with my births, and I am aware of that. just wish I had the hairdresser there! Lol

But I do feel for Kate. I know she knew what she was getting into. But I couldn't imagine being in labour and having the world waiting outside the windows. Poor girls in there pushing another human out of her va-jay-jay, and people are waving banners outside.

"I always think where on earth is she hiding the maternity pad?!?"

Eh? What on earth do you mean? !

octonaught · 23/04/2018 21:10

I really like Kate, and her powers of recovery are amazing.
However, I do think it is part if the pr of the royal family to present the new baby to the world. She could have easily had the baby at home —palace— and released a photo.
This appears to be part of the job now, and Kate is nothing but a pro.
Loved Charlotte’s little wave.
I bet they have a 4th

LoveInTokyo · 23/04/2018 21:19

Princess Charlotte is a little cutie. It’s a shame she didn’t come first really, because apart from making history by being the first daughter to take the throne over a younger brother, she’s got the smiling and waving thing down pat, whereas George always looks like he gives zero fucks.

I also wonder where her maternity pads are ? She wears such sheer , fine fabrics and never a glimpse of a huge mat pad

FaFoutis · 23/04/2018 21:23

As soon as she gets in the car she has absolutely nothing she has to do. I'd stand there naked on the hospital steps if I had that to look forward to.

BertrandRussell · 23/04/2018 21:23

Are maternity pads usually visible?

CuckingFunt1987 · 23/04/2018 21:25

Yeh definetly

user5292769 · 23/04/2018 21:25

Well I suppose maternity pads are quite thick and bulky but most people would wear loose fitting, dark pants immediately afterwards so no chance of seeing anything? Whereas under a fine silk dress it would be different?

Snowysky20009 · 23/04/2018 21:25

I felt like I was walking with a brick between my legs when I was wearing them!

Zeelove · 23/04/2018 21:30

Charlotte is lovely. But I love the fact George gives zero fucks. Can't wait for a long who gives zero fucks Grin can imagining people bowing and him saying 'yeah yeah whatever' eyerolling GrinGrin

FaFoutis · 23/04/2018 21:31

My pads were 3 feet long and a foot thick.

starlightmeteorite · 23/04/2018 21:32

She's no different to any other mum, she just has more help than the rest of us. Right now she is sore, full of hormones, and probably sniffing the baby's head. From pictures of her with her kids she looks like a lovely natural mum. Good for her.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 23/04/2018 21:33

Having to wear a dress and a maternity pad is not exactly a hardship. Thousands of women manage. They also manage to clean, cook, shop and look after the new baby and any older children they might have.

Kate gets chauffeured home where here staff and nannies and what not are already waiting.

I know who I have more sympathy for.

LoveInTokyo · 23/04/2018 21:33

Zeelove I love George and his attitude as well.

But let’s face it, he looks like a right little shit a bit of a handful.

Sky tv are owned by a Republican so are hypocrites to make a fuss about the Royal family.

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 23/04/2018 21:35

Love how they all talk about how big her babies are. I had a 10lb 11 baby and the next day was in town buying my ds1 school shoes. Some old ladies were cooing over him and couldn't believe I was walking less than 24hrs later after a baby that size haha I heard them still talking about it when we passed them later on. Other people's babies seem minuscule to me now haha

bophopandstop · 23/04/2018 21:37

Even though I didn't tear or need stitches with my second I still felt VERY swollen down there, I certainly wouldn't have been walking normally, and yes tights over maternity pads? Vom.

FaFoutis · 23/04/2018 21:37

'more help' makes her very different to 'any other mum' if by 'more help' you mean an army of staff.

Sprinklesinmyelbow · 23/04/2018 21:42

I don’t know why people expect to see someone’s maternity pad 🤣

RoseWhiteTips · 23/04/2018 21:44

Glad others see that attitude radiating off Prince George. Amazingly if you dare to suggest he is a bit of a brat, people rush in to say he is just shy. Yeah right.

Still, he is growing on me.
