....asks someone to remove Kay Burley or at least lob a shoe at her head from her labour suite?

I was up and about straight after all of mine, more women have straightforward deliveries than have interventions.

I definitely did not look like Kate, but I’d have looked passable with make-up artist and blow dry on standby!

CuckingFunt1987 · 23/04/2018 19:41

I seen her mouth say to William three times let's go back in . I don't think this labour has been as easy as the other two . She seemed very uneasy on the steps . Poor lady just wants her sweats on and to chill with a cuppa not get red carpet ready ! Welldone kate

Tink2007 · 23/04/2018 19:43

CuckingFunt1987 I said exactly the same to my mum.

I had my baby in sainsburys. Squat down and delivered in the bread aisle. Popped it into a sling and finished doing the weekly shop.

Ohmydayslove · 23/04/2018 19:54

user how do you know she’s breastfeeding? Lots of middle class ladies don’t just as much do

I tore with DS1 even though he was only 6lb because he was born so fast but didn't at all with ds2 even though he was 8lb 8. And I was walking really soon after my births. You have to walk to the shower for a start. In NHS hospitals you're chucked out hours after birth. She's not superhuman just because she's given birth to a Royal baby. Plenty of commoners manage to give birth and walk out of hospital too.

The bliss of going home knowing absolutely everything will be done for her. Even if she breastfeeds there'll be nannies on hand to relieve her once feedings over.

Its a miracle that she could bring herself
to sleep with William in the first place.
He’s very unattractive. For all the money
in the world I still dont know how she managed it.

Wow Shock shallow much? would you say that about your friends and their partners if you didn’t think he was a brad Pitt look a like?

So in your world, only classically good looking people have sex?

Kate’s been with William since their early twenties (when people on here have pointed out, that he was better looking then?). So do you think people should dump their partners when they dare to get a bit older and less likely to fit the stereotype of what’s supposed to be good looking?

Personally, I’m not into looks that much. I much prefer average looking guys that I click with personality wise.

littleducks · 23/04/2018 20:11

I wondered if she wanted to go back in as baby started crying, you see her patting and helicopter photos show he starts to cry.

I do wonder if they are hands on or will be handing baby to nanny. With George they didn't have nanny at the beginning.

Plantlover · 23/04/2018 20:12

Wurlie

I hoped you used some wipes to clean up the mess!

Can you imagine the utter bliss. Grin

TheCriminalMind · 23/04/2018 20:20

Rafflesway

I was out of hospital four hours after giving birth. The next day, I walked into town (45 minute walk there).

I was very lucky to have an issue free birth Smile

CuckingFunt1987 · 23/04/2018 20:25

I think she just wanted the pics over and to go home . Rightly so . I had a rapid delivery of my 4th ( labour recorded as 6 mins) and didn't Even have time to get my duffle coat off . I gave birth with all upper clothing on and a maddive duffle coat ( February). It was fast and I felt out of control . I ended up having 3rd degree tear and being stitched took longer than labour . I hope Kate escaped un torn but out of all her deliveries she looked the most uncomfortable today . I honestly think she does amazing and yeh she has a team of people helping but what women could do a photo shoot 6 hours after delivery

Airbiscuits · 23/04/2018 20:27

Poor lady. Probably the last thing I would have wanted to have put on after having a baby would be tights.

Bending over to put them on. Leaky maternity pads. Squishing your blubbery deflating tummy in.

Grim.

Maybe she had hold ups. But still. No one should have to.

CuckingFunt1987 · 23/04/2018 20:27

Must be heavenly going home to a clean home and multiple nannies and on hand staff . I'd give anything for that . I remember going home and having to get the tea on for my other 3 kids and husband lol

JoeMaplin · 23/04/2018 20:32

Don't forget Sophie nearly died having Louise. My gynae helped deliver her at our local hospital.

VanillaSugar · 23/04/2018 20:34

I came home after my C-section and my mother had invited herself round for lunch. Which I had to stand up and cook. While she sat around and chatted. She brought me flowers which she dumped on the table so I had to arse around trying to find a vase as well. Thanks Mum.

VanillaSugar · 23/04/2018 20:35

Sophie looks fantastic with longer hair.

IfyouseeRitaMoreno · 23/04/2018 20:37

I think of all the new mums in the UK Kate probably has it the easiest. Staff to bring you food, do your laundry and look after your family whilst the rest of us have to cope by ourselves.

Heatherjayne1972 · 23/04/2018 20:42

My heart went out to her on those steps I imagine that was the last thing she felt like doing
Hopefully she’s got the makeup off her jogging bottoms and slippers on and is curled up in bed with her children

MrsDylanBlue · 23/04/2018 20:44

I would refuse and play the Princess card. “I’m NOT doing it” Grin

ForkIt · 23/04/2018 20:44

Sometimes you’re just lucky. DS I was barely walking for a week, DD2 I honestly boobed her to sleep and had a shower 20min after whilst she slept, lost nearly nothing, did myself up and was honestly very annoyed when they then came back in and wanted me to stay in for the night! I would have happily popped in the bus home. DD1 wasn’t perfect but I did pop to Tesco on the way home after

CoolCarrie · 23/04/2018 20:46

I had my baby in the special buy aisle of Aldi, picked up a set of champagne glasses, a sieve and some rubber gloves, as I thought they might all come in useful...!

Is it still the case that if your waters broke in Mothercare you would get stuff for your baby? Kate missed a trick there.
