Her thoughts this morning

My first thoughts this morning are with service personnel called to action. Syria’s use of chemical weapons is sickening - but the question that the PM has not answered is how this action, taken without parliamentary approval, will halt their use or bring long term peace. #Syria

I take it you dont live in Scotland. She is a disaster - illiteracy has increased significantly on her watch likewise inumeracy such that she has withdrawn scotland from international testings. She appoints her pals to senior posts way beyong their xapabilities - health transport welfare the economy the list is endless. Hopefully at next holyrood elections we will get rid of her - her focus is only on independance and not the day job which all of us in scotland are paying a heavy price for

MidnightAura · 14/04/2018 10:57

Christ no, she's already running Scotland to the ground. If Westminister said the sky was blue she would disagree and say the sky was green.

Fontella · 14/04/2018 11:00

I'd vote for Attilla the Hun over Nicola Sturgeon.

Appalling woman, I absolutely loathe her.

JessicaJonesJacket · 14/04/2018 11:00

I live in Scotland. I haven't spoken to a single person who supports the strikes on Syria.
So Nicola's statement on Syria is representing the general feelings of people in Scotland (across Labour, SNP, Green, LibDem and even some Tory voters) - which is much more than Theresa May has managed.

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 14/04/2018 11:00

Good God, no. Nicola Sturgeon is ruining Scotland. We don’t want her ruining the rest of the UK too.

Y0uCann0tBeSer10us · 14/04/2018 11:02

God no! Awful divisive woman who is only interested in independence. Her ‘government’ has also made a mess of pretty much everything under their remit up here. The latest thing is micromanaging the health service and removing all wellbaby clinics so there is nowhere to get your baby weighed or get advice. No flexibility allowed, and HVs have had knuckles wrapped for suggesting people complain. No dissent is allowed in our Scottish utopia. It’s really quite chilling.

RunMummyRun68 · 14/04/2018 11:05

Oh dear

Thread not going the way op expected here!!!

Killerqueen2244 · 14/04/2018 11:29

Yeah she is fab......

......fucking awful bitch.....

BoneyBackJefferson · 14/04/2018 11:43

If sturgeon is the best of a bad bunch all it really does is highlight how bad the others are.

I think the replies from Scottish people pretty much sums it up.
Awful single policy focussed woman with very very clever marketing and party 'managers' - think Scottish National Momentum uuughh

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 14/04/2018 11:49

FUCK NO. The woman is a moron who cannot take the answer NO!

Bejazzled · 14/04/2018 11:53

I live in Scotland. Everyone I know recognises that something had to be done given that Russia vetoes every single resolution proposed to debate and discuss the use of chemical weapons in the UN.

I am old enough to remember the war in the former Yugoslavia when NATO forces sat back and watched ethnic cleansing in action - but yeah let's condemn taking action to stop children being gassed.
probably just because it's May and the Tories who agreed it

Delphinius · 14/04/2018 14:41

I don't think a lot of folk living in Scotland realise the extent to which the Scottish government have blunted Tory austerity drives.

As I said earlier, in the last 5 years I've lived in Hampshire and Aberdeenshire. There's no way I'm heading south again. If there was another independence referendum I'd probably vote to leave the UK.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 14/04/2018 14:51

Yes the health & social care provision in Scotland hasn’t had the savage austerity cuts enacted in England

Biologifemini · 14/04/2018 14:54

Considering the history of inventions and excellent academic institutions in Scotland I am surprised to hear about the schools.
Is this recent or is it due to years of neglect?

I don’t support air strikes from the UK. If the US wants to go ahead then fine, they can use akroteri, but I do not understand why we need to be involved.
Assad has been doing chemical attacks for a long time and I don’t think our involvement will make a difference now. Syria has been destroyed in many parts.

CackleCrackle · 14/04/2018 14:57

delphin and with a budget deficit bigger than Greece as Scotland currently would have if independent and no RUK tax flowing up to us how long do you reckon Scotland would continue to enjoy some protection from austerity?

Scotland would’ve had protection from the worst austerity thanks to the Barnett formals and very little to do with the SNP, we’d have had the same larger pot because of our membership of the UK..

Like lower austerity? Suggest you don’t support independence if it comes up again

eggsandchips · 14/04/2018 14:59

I find her unbearably irritating...just imagine having to see more of her.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 14/04/2018 15:01

eggandchips What great user name

Piffpaffpoff · 14/04/2018 15:05

No. She talks a good game but as someone else said, Scottish education is failing, budgets are being cut left right and centre due to the council tax freeze but it’s ok, she’s going to get us independence and then everything will magically be ok. Hmm.

QueenoftheSilverDollar12 · 14/04/2018 15:06

This pretty much sums up what most of Scotland now think of wee Niklah.

stopbeingabloodyvictim · 14/04/2018 15:10

Are you really referring to the wicked witch of the north as a viable leader of anything. She is a bigoted, xenophobic one trick pony, who has absolutely no integrity who try's to spin everything the Government does to her own personal one policy party's agenda. She is bankrupting Scotland before our very eyes, with short term populist policies that are unsustainable as clearly demonstrated by her crumbling, dangerous schools, nhs that can't cope with free prescriptions and parking and an absolute hypocrisy toward our armed forces....she want us to build ships in Scotland and any income but doesn't want anything built based there....
