Surprisingly good cheap products.

Posting for traffic.

I've recently got a few bits online that people have recommended for being cheap but really good for what they are. Latest purchases are a really good liquid eyeliner from Amazon for £0.64 and a baby bath seat that should be £20 but was £9.99 inc delivery!

So out of curiosity and wanting to get some stuff has anyone got any recommendations of surprisingly good products they've bought really cheaply?

Not asking for anything particular just anything that comes to mind.

Thank you @Dieu! I will definitely give that a try Grin

Yes thanks @Dieu. Have to say I'm same as you re; double wear. I've read up here and there about the coverage is similar buy it's staying power etc... is nowhere near as good (?) I couldn't find any to try yesterday but will keep looking!
Meant to post before. I LOVE pound land lip butter sticks / translucent or porcelain powder / eyeshadows and their black inkwell eyeliner.

I use it on dd's flyaway bits when her hair is up, works a treat to smoothe them down

Got the Primark foundation last weekend - works a treat after a long day at work. Quite thick and powdery, and can leave obvious smudges at first - eg if you have an itchy nose 😂 but overall fantastic value for money. I never thought doublewear lived up to the hype for the price of it...Primark is in a squares, opaque glass bottle.

Aldi's CC cream, in store now £2.99.

Tesco aloe and apple shampoo, think it was 80p, dds hair has never looked shinier or felt softer (previously used child's farm)

Place marking. This is a good thread particularly since I'm stocking up for the holidays. Can people add more suggestions pretty please. I second the tesco serum in the red bottle, absolute God send for a frizzy mop for only a quid.

The sachets of freeze and squeeze cocktails from Aldi and Lidl.... 85p compared to the Smirnoff ones which are £2 plus. They taste better too!

Can anyone recommend a substitute for the gorgeous but oh so pricey Nuxe oil? I've tried the Garnier body oil, but it goes a bit rancid.

Any other favourites?

Essence Lash Princess mascara available in Wilkos. Easily the best mascara I've ever used across any price range. I have pretty rubbish natural lashes but this stuff gives me really long lashes, holds a curl and never flakes or smudges, all for £3.50.
