To be so pissed off with husband's attitude to 'helping' with our children?

Was just cooking dinner and noticed dd needed changing. Asked DH (lying on sofa) to change her and he said 'when you're the one going to work all week I'll change her'

I'm a sahm. In the main it is fair that the house and children are my responsibility but this attitude really pissed me off. She's his daughter too!

It's probably because I'm now feeling broody, but I remember changing nappies and bathtimes as being great bonding times for me and my DCs. I worked FT and my wife was home with DCs, so my main interaction with them was to do as much with them as possible when I came home. Some evenings were harder than others, but it gave me the memories I have now, and I would love to have some of that back.

I wouldn't trust any man who says they won't/can't change a nappy.

I suggested my ex bath our dd for that very reason. He got indignant and thought I was trying to offload women's work onto him. Machos don't even know what they are missing.

Tosser. Go online, see how much you could get out of him in child benefit if you were divorced, imagine that life and then decide which one you want. Worth having a smaller/rented house and working part time to get this dickhead off your sofa and out of your life xx
