To ask what vegetables you don't like?

I've always thought of myself as being a fussy eater and as someone who doesn't really like veg.

I know I am fussy in that for example, I like bacon crispy and gag if I get a big stringy bit of fat in a bacon sandwich. I can't stand getting gristle in a sausage or burger, basically I'm not a big fan of processed meat. I don't like unexpected bones in food.

When I really think about it though there is only one vegetable that I can think of that I dislike and that's broccoli.

I like all fruit I can't think of a single one I don't like. I'm not saying I'd relish a plate of sprouts, but I love salad and eat most veg if cooked and seasoned well. If I was to go round the fruit and veg aisle literally the only thing I wouldn't like to eat is the broccoli.

I wonder if I'm not that fussy after all.

The smell of parsnips makes me feel funny, but I can eat them if I cook them in a good pungent curry chopped up really small.

I'm not fond of artichokes.

I'd eat any veg to be polite e.g. if someone served it to me, though.

I'm not wild about fruit. I'll eat a banana sometimes, or an apple, but none of it really excites me.

butter beans, make me gag. Remember them at school dinners where we had eaten some of everything.

Aubergine
Kohlrabi
Turnip
Swede
Avocado
Ramps
Any bell pepper except green
Cooked greens - I'll eat them raw in salad except for kale, which is surely the devil's pubic hair.

Beetroot- tastes like mud. Mushrooms- like eating a slug.

Celery on its own, but I don't really notice it in a mixed casserole.

Whole raw carrots - it's not the taste I don't like but the texture. It feels as if I can chew them for ever and they never become ready to swallow. Grated raw carrot is lovely though.

Apart from that, I don't think I've ever met a vegetable I didn't like.

Recently realised that anything mushy makes me gag and throw up. Goodbye mushy peas. :((((

Sweet potatoes and beans. Not green beans and runner beans, they're my faves, but the actual beans themselves (like kidney beans, butter beans, etc).

Yes! I'm surprised anyone can eat raw carrot. I just don't have the time to be chewing each bite for an hour.
