Date movie.
It has alisonhannigan in and we thought it might be light hearted
It was dire. Utter crap. And I have a high threshold for crap, can watch most rubbish as long as its entertaining

I quite liked Hot Tub Time Machine but I'm an 80's throwback so love an 80's nostalgia fest in any guise. Or perhaps I just have low standards too because there are more than a few alleged horros mentioned here that I've enjoyed. Little Man for one. I think I must have the SOH of a twelve year old boy

There was a film called The Sweetest Thing that I only watched the whole way through because I was too tired to find something else on the TV. I couldn't work out the plot, but at the end Cameron Diaz kissed some bloke, so it must have been a romance. There were terrible songs, and worse dancing and a truly awful, extended scene where Selma Blair's tongue piercing got caught on a man's penis piercing while she was blowing him.

Also an honourable mention to Trance staring James McAvoy. It was so incredibly complicated that I don't really know what was going on. He had lost his memory and was being hypnotised to try and get it back so they could find the painting he had helped to steal and had hidden. I couldn't tell what was real and what was a product of the hypnosis, and nobody was who they pretended to be, and McAvoy spent the entire film at a level of anxiety that would surely have given a normal person a heart attack.

I watched a film with my mum in the late 80's called The Telephone. So so so bad. It was 99% Whoopi Goldberg in her apartment talking on the telephone to various people. So 90 minutes of a one sided conversation. Then ...SPOILER....big twist at the end you find out her telephone was broken so she was talking to herself. Aaaarrrggh!!! Worst thing was we had rented it from the video shop so my mum had paid for that torture.
