I did say to her at the time that I thought using the word ‘slag’ was wrong. But my sons were there at the time and although two of them are too young to understand I find it worrying they might internalise that kind of thing.

We have a fractious relationship anyway (she used to call me promiscuous as an older teenager because I’d had a snog and a grope). So I don’t want to cause a lot of friction. But I wonder if I should send her an email saying that isn’t acceptable.

Personally I think that their attacks on other women and their misogynistic language are far from feminist. Although there’s something of liberal feminism in the “ it’s all about choice innit “ arguement. All choices made by a woman are feminist etc.

I'm quite sure if you did a random poll asking porn stars what colour their nails were the vast majority would not be red.
The vast majority would be slim and a lot of them would be younger than the men watching them.

We know what you mean but I find the sentiment offensive and I call people out for sexism whenever I see it. Unfounded accusations of fantasising about "very young" women is wrong.

Belindabauer I get the point you're making. My ex uzed to call me baby doll. I was around 19 at the time, and much sweeter than I am now. He loves the whole big eyed, naive cute thing. I outgrew being cute in that way (ironically thanks to him, he hardened me a lot. And literally turned my hair grey). He used to look at a lot of half naked selfies of older teen's, onesie hood up, tits out sort of stuff.

You can't judge by how someone's dressed, how "up for it" they are. And not all men find that look a turn on anyway. A lot of men love the whole innocent thing, (probably more insecure men than otherwise). Or they sense a certain vulnerability, and wonder if they can take advantage of that.
