awww man - I have never wanted to be a SAHM so much as I do after reading this thread...If I promise to drop down to part time...can I get a kicking too?

When am I scheduled for a kicking?

I am mostly at home. Sometimes I work from home. Sometimes I actually make memories with 4 yr old ds. And sometimes with dd who is 13.

Just now though I am fucking up banana muffins we made along with memories and a fucking mess. I did work this morning though. In my pjs. After thr nursery run. Also in pjs.

DH reckons when times are lean i could be a dominatrix and use the laundry room (or punishment palace as i call it). I could still watch homes under the hammer and just use the punters as a foot stool instead.

What I want to know though, are SAHDs really trans SAHMs? Have they made a public declaration that they believe they are a SAHM and so must be? And do they have a separate day for kicking or are they going to insist on having the same rights as us natural born SAHMs?

On the serious, "choice" thing; I'd agree that there's almost some degree of choice, but too often (especially on MN) that choice is regarded as ideological rather than circumstancial. Which makes the bashing far easier...

RE. My allocated kicking; is there a dress code? Is sack cloth and ashes okay? Shall I paint some targets on my knees?
