Women working out of the home condem other women

....to caring for their children. For low pay. (Albeit very expensive childcare for the end user? ie a working couple one of whose wages possibly only just covers childcare fees.... leaving them with effectively one income again)

This is the reality. The number of men caring for the children hasn’t gone up as the number of women working out of the home has.

In an ideal world, would there be an equal number of sahds to sahms? Or should we force more men into paid childcare jobs. I don’t know the statistics, but it seems men just don’t want to work in that area. So women bear the brunt again.

It all seems weird .

Francine, what’s your point?if you’re happy in your choice, what more do you need
Essentially you won’t change your mind, and nor will I.and thats the point
But you can debate without habitually being provocative,or seeking a reaction

Speak for yourself if you think it’s pointless tiny, I’m interested and vociferous about this topic
I don’t find it pointless on the least,it is a mn perennial.and there’s a reason for that
It resonates because it touches on the societal pressure and expectations upon women
Interesting to note,op singled out women for derision, women not men

I am in I awe of your long words that's all. I wish I could do that.

Francine, you’ve just made bitchy comments rather than engaging in discussion. You clearly have issues about your own life choices but you’re just embarrassing yourself with these pathetic insults.
If you don’t want to work then fine- no problem. Get on and enjoy your life and let others enjoy theirs

The longest cleverest word I know is
Purplexing

Catinthebath · 15/02/2018 09:57

It might be clever if it was actually in the dictionary Francine
