annadale the nytimes has published a piece yesterday about how HRC shielded a staffer from sexual harassment consequences (he wasn’t fired but had to take unpaid leave for some time I think).

But at the same time, Wynn’s alleged sexual assaults will be problematic for the GOP/RNC after how they excoriated the dems for Harvey Weinstein and demanded they return any money donated. Wynn’s influence/money runs deep in the RNC and predictably they’re silent on the matter.

boatyard I have a relative who works as a business consultant for the nhs, helping them to restructure to save money, be more efficient etc and he is utterly convinced that privatisation is the way forward. It makes me so sad that he won’t acknowledge that years of underfunding have wreaked devastating havoc on the nhs and there’s principles at stake here too and he, being very generously paid to do his job, assumes he knows best and won’t be told otherwise (which given he has worked in the field for years, is hard to argue against!)
