😊

That?

I have to tell you that EVERY time I see it I get irritated.

Smug...little smug face with it's "cute" blushing cheeks.

I want to drop kick it.

What do you think it conveys when you use it if you do?

Ahardyfool · 26/01/2018 18:05

iPhone needs the Confused face. I have a need to use it in lots of situations. To me it says confused AND frazzled. Me to a T.

DarkDarkNight · 26/01/2018 18:19

It's a bit twee and self-satisfied.

I like 🙄😏😐 and agree completely that the Mumsnet Hmm needs to be more widespread.

RavenWings · 26/01/2018 18:21

I hate the Mumsnet Sad one. It conjures up an image of some middle class mummy posting in a flurry about some ridiculous school 'issue'. Just seems really false and over the top.

I accept that my view is probably a bit ott Grin

Fekko · 26/01/2018 18:24

It’s Charlie’s Angels isn’t it?

Fekko · 26/01/2018 18:24

I spotted this one today: 🤬

sabs22 · 26/01/2018 18:32

It’s a wee chuft face lol, happy with itself or happy with something that’s happened like getting a compliment.

Indie139 · 26/01/2018 18:33

Chuffed

Whatthefunk · 26/01/2018 18:39

Calls for the 🔫 in reply...

pollymere · 26/01/2018 18:58

Slightly embarrassed, as in oops.

Katedotness1963 · 26/01/2018 19:04

It looks like pride to me.

Strongmummy · 26/01/2018 19:06

I’m rotting inside by I’m pretending I’m Fearne Cotton

babyccinoo · 26/01/2018 19:28

I can't stand the Blush emoji used on MN threads.

There's something so 'I'm so ditsy but aren't I cute' about it.

MumsTheWordYouKnow · 26/01/2018 20:27

I thought it was just a friendly smile

Geordie1944 · 26/01/2018 21:50

People who use emojis are illiterate.

MissionItsPossible · 26/01/2018 22:00

People who use emojis are illiterate.

Did you bypass the last seven pages of people using them and somehow, able to type words in the same post? Every single post even contained real life full sentences! 😮

Shockers · 26/01/2018 22:02

It comes up on my predictive text bar when I type thank you 😊 ... along with a pair of praying hands. 🙏

MissionItsPossible · 26/01/2018 23:03

Reading through an old MN thread (2014) made me remember these used to be called emoticons.. when did it change and why? Confused

CasanovaFrankenstein · 27/01/2018 00:22

This has reminded me of the whole Clock Bus Canada emoji riddle!

TenancyTroublesAgain · 27/01/2018 01:21

You're interpreting it all wrong...

beltanelove · 27/01/2018 16:16

Pleased as punch

Mosschopz · 27/01/2018 16:44

I don’t understand 🙌

Enlighten me.

Coconutspongexo · 27/01/2018 16:47

When I use 🙌🏻 It’s a ‘yassss’

Passmethecakeplease · 27/01/2018 17:09

Moss , to me that double hands up is like saying you're in complete agreement. Like satin 'amen sistaaaa'.

Passmethecakeplease · 27/01/2018 17:09

Saying*

MissionItsPossible · 27/01/2018 17:30

Yes, the replies above are correct, I think it's actually known as 'preach'
