Why do I find Phillip and Holly so annoying!!

So, just caught the last bit of This Morning and is it just me or have they become really smug lately? Their egos are through the roof and the way they try and find something really funny and burst out laughing is getting a bit tiresome. These hilarious innuendos or slip of the tongues are not set up at all by them or the production team boring. They can never top Fern Britton's 'see you don't mind dunking a bit of beef' gaff, much as they try.

I do prefer Eamonn and Ruth, much more humble and in touch with the viewers.

On the rare occasions I flick onto that show, it's the bloody adverts that are on! Phil and Holly aside, I don't know how anyone can bear watching it due to the constant ad breaks alone!

I can't stand them either. & who's idea was it to bring back dancing on ice? Yawnorama.

You could like many people choose not to watch the shows they present.

The whole rolling in drunk from the NTAs or being too hungover to work is SO lame it casts doubt on the credulity of the rest of the show. If the producers think that we, as an audience, are dumb enough to buy into that charade, what other fake crap are they pedalling?

It used to be a real treat to have a morning free to watch TM but not anymore. It has become like a pantomime caricature of a good magazine show. I am more likely to watch Homes Under the Hammer on a morning off.

And also, whilst discussing daytime tv - did anyone see Loose Women today? When did Katie Price become so slow? I have never liked her, but she used to be reasonably quick witted. Now she can barely string a sentence together. Is she on some sort of medication?

I watch the Matthew Wright show on C5 rather than deal with TM.

I think the whole ITV morning line up from GMB to Loose Women is pretty crappy. I used to have it on as background when pottering around the house but I actually bought a DAB radio recently as I just got fed up of it all.

I think it did, but not surevit was comparing like for like because PS was doing other stuff for ITV as well, not just This Morning.

Bring back Richard & Judy, at least owned his smug twattery and Judy didn't pander to it. But more importantly bring back Paul O'Grady as Lily Savage getting pissed at the wine reviewing and doing the advice phone-in. Priceless.

Tbh, Op, as you can manage sentences and critical thinking you're not really This Morning's target audience. ITV is 90 % telly for the intellectually bereft.

I also think holly’s done something to her face, but I can’t work out what other than looking slightly more vacant, from one angle she looked like Tess Daly. Phil also thinks he’s god’s gift. Silver chihuahua - love that!

Ok, I discovered something today about Katie Price that made me feel sad and a bit sorry for her. This is AIBU and not Chat, so I won't say what it is as it won't disappear - only that she tried to do something good for Harvey but some other places excluded her because of who she is, so she couldn't continue with Plan A. Sorry, but of a derail there, but I've been thinking about it all day and then I saw her name a couple of posts ago.

Back to Phil... I suspect he thought his OBE was in the bag after the Prince Philip interviews, but he started to act over- familiar with the Royal Family.

Phil was compering and made a reference to Prince Charles in wide angle. Phil laughed and said "he's blowing his nose!!!!!!!!!" The camera instantly went to Chazza who was indeed wiping his nose. Phil then carried on the joke.
