Why do I find Phillip and Holly so annoying!!

So, just caught the last bit of This Morning and is it just me or have they become really smug lately? Their egos are through the roof and the way they try and find something really funny and burst out laughing is getting a bit tiresome. These hilarious innuendos or slip of the tongues are not set up at all by them or the production team boring. They can never top Fern Britton's 'see you don't mind dunking a bit of beef' gaff, much as they try.

I do prefer Eamonn and Ruth, much more humble and in touch with the viewers.

Am I the only one who feels like this? I am not Fern Britton by the way

Laughing three days in a row. "Oh, we're so unprofessional!" Yes you are.

I think they think they are witty. They aren't.

They are such a TV cliché too. It would be refreshing to have a fit young man presenting alongside a woman in her mid-50s rather than the other way around.

I was looking for this thread the other day - I had to turn over due to their outrageously fake corpsing after Phil said “front bottom”

Then I see on fb a fucking compilation of fakery and people I actually like saying how hilarious it all is

I realise I shouldn’t be watching but I had a vomiting bug and was sofa-bound.

I saw the fake bottom bit. 🙄 I don’t actually watch - I just have it on in the background sometimes when I’m working from home

They have their own little sense of humour world..I tried to watch it the other day in the interests of research and to see if they are actually as bad as some say,, ,,Didn't get very far into the programme..

At home today and caught this. Ruth and Eamonn are such a breath of fresh air compared to the smug pair. Especially in interviews. As pp mentioned, you can tell they're qualified journalists. Even though Eamonn can get a little know-it-all Ruth reins him in.

My new theory is that Holly and Phil despise each other, it's not that new I mentioned it on here a while ago, but I was watching their back slapping mouth covering giggling the other day and I am now certain.

Eamon did a good job today with the Oxfam interview. Phil and Holly would have been too busy giggling over the word prostitute to actually have done anything sensible with that interview

I used to adore PS, and he was in Joseph when I saw it, so was nice to see him back in the coat on Sat for the ALW celebration.

She is really over exposed and becoming more vapid by the day. She is a smug, dull sell out and its back firing. I think her fan base is the jobless underclass who buy her tacky clothes on tick and appreciate her 40 year old barbie image. And have you seen the promo pics she did cradling a diet coke!? My toes have yet to unclench.

Since this thread PS has been making a massive deal of drinking in the cooking segments.

Poor P Vickery can't really hide his dislike. It's palpable. Poor sod.

Much prefer these two on today. So much less smuggery and arse-licking.

But then Rylan can do no wrong in my eyes. Even with the veneers and ginger-denial :)

Who couldn't love Rylan? Emma Willis I can take or leave but Rylan is awesome.

Agree. He's very switched on and genuine.

I dont even watch this morning, but I find their omnipresence is jarring. Rylan is ace and yes seems switched on a genuine.
