I absolutely disagree with her views but I believe that allowing them to be spoken openly, allows them to be rationally debated and destroyed, educates others and prevent them festering.

The trouble is that giving her a mainstream public platform to pronounce those views gives others with similar views what they perceive to be validation to do likewise. And they do. So we find ourselves in a society where there is a substantial proportion of people who think it's absolutely fine to hurl racist abuse and tell those with skin of a different colour to get out of the country. Those who gave KH that platform have a lot to answer for.

The old Marriage Society study is quoted in this study - which suggests that the Telegraph is actually using a Press Release from the Marriage Society, bigging up their input into this study. Naught, naught, Telegraph!

Haven't read the Civitas report - too long. Haven't read up on where Civitas are coming from. They're 'independent', however, I think we all know that think tanks tend to have political agendas.

Latest part of this story... There has been a GoFundMe page to turn her home into a refugee home. (I fail to see how this is 'sticking one to her' - it's not like she's going to see it or have it affect her - she'll have moved)!

How are they planning to run it? Are they planning to raise enough for stamp duty, legals, searches - and then to maintain it and feed/clothe the refugees? Or would they hand it to a charity/council?

Still, the idea about keeping whatever is raised if they don't make the target and donating it to charity sounds fair enough. If you were inclined to donate in the first place, you'd be happy with that, surely.
