I'm going in August alone because DH and I couldn't afford 2 tickets. I will be 7 months pregnant and I expect to cry...a lot!!!

PlectrumElectrum · 14/02/2018 08:34

You'll definitely cry! Grin You will love it.

KatyMac · 14/02/2018 08:38

i'm seeing it next week; but i registered for the lottery anyway

ssd · 14/02/2018 08:53

I live in Hamilton!!

what are you talking about op??

Branleuse · 14/02/2018 09:14

im going tommorow. I dont know any of the songs and im shit at following films and storylines, so i hope i still enjoy it

PlectrumElectrum · 14/02/2018 12:19

Bran, it's fast moving but even if you don't catch every word, you'll follow it no problem. Its so cleverly done, but easy to follow the plot line so you'll be fine.

I'm so jealous, wish I was off to see it again!

HesMyLobster · 14/02/2018 13:54

We went last night! Completely blown away, it was incredible!
My teen DDs knew it word for word already, I'd listened to the soundtrack a couple of times, and DH went completely unprepared with next to no idea what it was even about.
We all absolutely loved it.
I'm still getting goosebumps when I think of it.

I am SO excited. I got £37.50 seats for December and cannot wait. All I have to do now is book a flight and find a hotel... current cheapest one I’ve found in the area is still £160 for one night, and nowhere near luxurious... has anyone who’s been stayed over? If so, can you recommend hotels?

boilingkettle · 14/02/2018 18:09

Oh, and what time is it over? Could do with knowing that in case we end up staying somewhere out of centre!

bruffin · 14/02/2018 18:12

Finishes 10.15

PlectrumElectrum · 15/02/2018 00:10

We stayed at the best western Victoria palace on Warwick Way. We stayed 3 nights/2 twin rooms & cost £250 each room. It's 10 mins walk from theatre, there's plenty restaurants or supermarkets for buying food/meals. Breakfast was£12.50 per person, under 12s half that cost. It was clean, warm, friendly & I'd go back there again if I got tickets to see Hamilton again.

boilingkettle · 15/02/2018 11:16

Thank you! Looks good. And cheaper than everywhere else I’ve looked Smile

lookingforthecorkscrew · 15/02/2018 11:21

There's no need to stay in central London, it's finished by 10.15 and tubes run until midnight.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 15/02/2018 14:57

Saw it last night! WOW!

That was truly amazing!

tillytrotter1 · 15/02/2018 20:40

ssd · 15/02/2018 21:48

thanks km

Branleuse · 16/02/2018 14:20

We went yesterday, and despite not knowing any of the songs, it was really good. I wouldnt mind going again actually

wtffgs · 16/02/2018 21:31

It is sooo good. I already knew a few of the songs but adored the music, the intricate, witty lyrics, the dancing, the very attractive men .... I could go on.

LassWiADelicateAir · 16/02/2018 22:18

I saw it on youtube and wasn't impressed tbh, seen much better and wouldn't go with free tickets, but each to their own

I saw bits on YouTube and thought it was dreadful. I agree I wouldn't go even with free tickets.

bruffin · 17/02/2018 08:59

More tickets for the rest of us Grin

KatyMac · 24/02/2018 23:20
