Trying to find his shoes in the big pile of shoes by the door. He’s in a rush, and is wondering (Not for the first time) why there is a shoe stand if no one is going to use it.

Now he’s found the left shoe, but the right one is nowhere to be seen, and he’s going to end up arriving at his yoga class when everyone else is already changed and warming up on the mats.
