To think you probably can't get pregnant this way

Hi all, very long time lurker, first time poster because something is really playing on my mind.

Normally very very careful with contraception, but I'm worried because of what happened a week ago.

Me and DP were messing around and the long and short of it is he "pleasured me digitally" (snort) with "spermy fingers". God sorry for the TMI.

I checked the app i use to track my period and that was apparently in my fertile window.

Can you put my mind at rest - its unlikely for that to cause pregnancy, right? But how unlikely? Like super unlikely or just unlikely?

God....the pressure! 😂 Will post an update when I have a definite outcome. Hopefully the replies will help others as i did a lot of creative MN searching and couldn't find any "spermy finger pregnancy" threads (dry heave). I just dont want to tell a future child that they were conceived by a drunken spermy finger...

Good luck, tmi but extra discharge was how both my pregnancies became obvious, I had zero sickness and only slightly tender boobs with the first one, the second was accidental - I'm also one of those extra fertile people :-/

Mizz, Just 17 and More have me in the entirely possible corner my own fertility has me in the highly unlikely corner however as PP have said not everyone's the same. Hope it works out ok whatever the end result and if nothing else at least you've a GSOH.

I have always been extremely fertile but this just took the biscuit.

Op with my first born dp and I convinced each other that it takes non teenaged couples AGES of TTC to get pregnant. So we should get started ahead of actually being ready for a baby.

We got pregnant the very first time we had unprotected sex.

Every time I've had spermy sex and not taken the MAP I have immediately fallen pregnant. And one time I was pregnant after using condoms with no visible condom failure.

People dont talk much about it if they get pregnant super easily because it sounds braggy and yes, SOME people struggle. But a lot of people do get pregnant super easily

Id be panicking but I've got pregnant first time trying for all three of my kids. Don't get me wrong I know I'm really lucky it's been easy for us but now we don't want more kids I crap myself at the thought of getting pregnant so we use two different methods of contraception. All you can do us wait but its most definitely possible

I would see it as a possibility if it were me but only because I know both me and DH are very fertile. I would say in most cases it won’t result in a pregnancy.

Possible if you're super fertile. I feel certain it wouldn't have been a problem for me and DH.

I’m a scientist and this is sort of my area. It’s not unusual for us to see motile sperm in samples that have been produced days before. So I’d say yes there is a (small) chance.

It only takes a single sperm to fertilise and egg so considering a glob contains a few hundred to a few thousand depending on the man makes it extremely possible

I probably would! DH and I have always conceived (4 times now) after only a few... attempts. We're pretty fertile when we want to be so I can imagine we would be that 'cautionary tale' couple. In fact, DS was conceived after an almost two year long dry spell. (Lost libido for both of us after 3rd pregnancy but happy couple nonetheless) I jumped him one night and oopsie, Baby on board.

Only time we never intended to conceive as the rest of the time I'm on BC pills but had taken a break due to being out of action.

and as for the age thing...

late thirties, three pregnancies, all conceived first cycle. (one did miscarry though)

Yes. My friend, as a teen, got pregnant in a very similar manner while never having had full PIV sex.
