To think you probably can't get pregnant this way

Hi all, very long time lurker, first time poster because something is really playing on my mind.

Normally very very careful with contraception, but I'm worried because of what happened a week ago.

Me and DP were messing around and the long and short of it is he "pleasured me digitally" (snort) with "spermy fingers". God sorry for the TMI.

I checked the app i use to track my period and that was apparently in my fertile window.

Can you put my mind at rest - its unlikely for that to cause pregnancy, right? But how unlikely? Like super unlikely or just unlikely?

@AmazingGrace16

Thank you for posting that, although I must say I still see nothing...

Having some very light cramps now so maybe I'll come on over night.

If not I will and get a pink dye one. Although why is everyone saying they are better, how does it work?

Freaking me out a bit that I have zero boob tenderness which is normally my number one symptom. My nipples are really sore but not the actual boobs.

when I was pregnant the only symptom I had was sore nipples Shock

Tink2007 · 20/01/2018 19:34

I’ve inverted the photo for you - no other line at all. Completely negative OP.

If it makes you feel any better my periods are regular as clockwork - 28 days bang on. Last May I was a week late for no reason at all. Stress levels went through the roof I tell you!

Thank you @Tink2007 😊

Sorry Glitter, I've checked again, on my PC and on my phone. I'm going to retract on the basis that the PC inversion doesn't show the line. But I can still see a faint one when I fiddle with my phone and I won't be at all surprised if you come back later this week and say you've got a positive.

AmazingGrace16 · 21/01/2018 06:30

Any more updates op?

GlitterUnicornsAndAllThatJazz · 21/01/2018 09:51

@AmazingGrace16

No period.

No pharmacies open near me today so I will have to wait until tomorrow to get another test.

I track my period and the latest it has ever been even in periods of intense stress etc has been 2 days. In other words if it doesn't come today then i will be 3 days late which is unprecedented for me.

But as another poster said earlier, it can happen. I guess the body is a strange thing!

The more you worry about it the later your period will be. They are sneaky bastards like that. Have you got a supermarket near by? They'll have tests unless of course you're avoiding taking another test today

AmazingGrace16 · 21/01/2018 12:07

Bodies are so strange!
I hope you get the result you want:)

wineandcheeseplease · 21/01/2018 12:08

Worrying can make it late

FiveNightsAtMummys · 21/01/2018 12:23

Just marking my place for next test update!

HollyJollyDillydolly · 21/01/2018 12:30

Blimey I'm keeping this thread to show teen dd the perils of spermy fingers.

NewMummy579 · 21/01/2018 12:31

Shamelessly marking to find out if the next baby Jesus is on his/her way!

GlitterUnicornsAndAllThatJazz · 21/01/2018 12:33

KLAXON KLAXON KLAXON

Period arrived!!!! And yes it's a proper gushing stream not an ambiguous spotting job, there's chunk of womb in it and all.

Fuck yes!!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to help me out and the people who turned their eagle eyes to my photos. I'm assuming if you made out a hint if a shadow on the tests it makes sense that there would need to be somewhere on the screen for the "positive" dye to go to so that must be what you saw.

I was really worried there for a minute. This certainly helped me clarify my thoughts on having a baby etc which was interesting. And i have definitely never observed or learnt as much about my body before so Im glad to have had this experience. I feel much much wiser.

To periods! Wine
