Hi all, very long time lurker, first time poster because something is really playing on my mind.

Normally very very careful with contraception, but I'm worried because of what happened a week ago.

Me and DP were messing around and the long and short of it is he "pleasured me digitally" (snort) with "spermy fingers". God sorry for the TMI.

I checked the app i use to track my period and that was apparently in my fertile window.

Can you put my mind at rest - its unlikely for that to cause pregnancy, right? But how unlikely? Like super unlikely or just unlikely?

Adnerb - re sperm from anal. It's not that the sperm gnaw through your innards, it's that sperm ah, drips and can end up, er, elsewhere. Like if you wipe your arse after, it can end up in your fanny.

Well I'm a bit unsettled because I posted hoping for a lot of "its seriously, really unlikely".

I still think it's probably very unlikely because
A) surely the sperm being exposed to the great outdoors first must....handicap them in some way? #NotAScientist
And
B) the fact they weren't flung up to the heights of my holy place must make it a little more difficult.

So I think disabled sperm + bigger climb = probably very unlikely.

But I'll still keep an eye out for my period and won't be shocked and staggered if it doesn't come.

Your period might not come because you're stressing.

If you're not going to take the MAP then just forget it and see what happens.

I think it is possible but much lower odds due to the reasons you say, and the lower overall number of sperm. Still, it only takes one little athlete....😊

One of my siblings was conceived without penetration, just a splash nearby. So definitely a possiblity.

I think if depends on how long between ejaculation and insertion, the can live for 5 days inside the vagina but not very long outside it.

If it was pretty much immediately then it's a much higher chance and I'd probably MAP it if I were you.

It only takes 1 ickle sperm to get there!
