Hi all, very long time lurker, first time poster because something is really playing on my mind.

Normally very very careful with contraception, but I'm worried because of what happened a week ago.

Me and DP were messing around and the long and short of it is he "pleasured me digitally" (snort) with "spermy fingers". God sorry for the TMI.

I checked the app i use to track my period and that was apparently in my fertile window.

Can you put my mind at rest - its unlikely for that to cause pregnancy, right? But how unlikely? Like super unlikely or just unlikely?

Can you get symptoms that are exactly like PMS and be pregnant?

Early symptoms can be very similar but I definitely don't see a line. I kinda wanted you to be pregnant sorry just for the sheer weirdness. Plus babies are great even from slightly disabled sperm that's had to pretty much climb Everest lol. I'd pretty much put that babe down for world domination.

Yeah I know what you mean, in my moments alone I realised that I really, really didn't want to be pregnant, but I knew that a negative would really be letting the MN crew down 😂 I also see absolutely nothing and the feeling I have is just unmistakenly the feeling of coming on.

So on that basis....to the tequila!!!!!

Yes you can, it happened to me with my 3rd dc. I was convinced my period was due until I realised it was a week late.
If I were you I would test again in a couple of days if your period doesn't arrive.

I definitely don't see a line there. Relax. Anxiety can delay your period too.

That is a completely clear test.

That test is completely negative.

Seems a very definite negative to me.

I'm really sorry, but I think I saw a faint line, also. I even double checked myself by inverting it (although I know some people hate it when people invert tests), and although it is very faint, it is there. Having said that, it's so faint that I suppose it could be just strike through of the impression for the positive result, rather than a positive result itself? You'll soon know if your period appears.

Looks like negative to me. If your period still hasn’t come yet then maybe test again tomorrow or in a couple of days

Did ur period come? U can’t rely on the test to rule out an early pregnancy, the risk has to have been at least 3 weeks ago to be reliable.

The weird thing is yesterday morning I had that feeling it was about to come. You all know the feeling I mean right, the one that happens a few hours before the blood starts flowing? Its not your other PMS symptoms, its a really hard sensation to explain. I guess it's like an almost warm and glowing pressure on your lower abdomen, almost like you have a chakra there that's opening up and you're like "uh oh.....there she bloooooooows!"

So it was just weird to get that very specific feeling and nothing.

I think I can see a v v v faint shadow of a line, but those blue tests are known for it so I would test again with a pink dye one
