Not a TAAT as such - more about moderation in general.

Is it just me or are MN much quicker to delete threads these days?

There have been a few examples recently where the thread had taken an odd turn - but which could have been solved by deletions or posdibly even a stern but the whole thread has been pulled, despite the thread containing useful advice.

Is this a new policy? Or are there a couple of new mods who are more likely to pull threads?

AIBU to think this is happening and it's a shame if so?

Seriously? I now get posts deleted even though I wasn’t troll hunting? Is it against guidelines to sarcastically ask why someone who apparently hates another site is not only hanging around there but then running back here to comment on it? This is exactly the sort of thing that makes me use MN less often recently, goady posters rule the roost and the rest of us can’t even question it.

The threads were there. They were deleted as unsavoury trolling.

I’m not sure where the implication has arisen that regular users on the sub put them there themselves and like to indulge in a little ‘slut shaming’ and rape threats?

Perhaps it’s a mistake from someone who has found themselves mentioned over there, quickly skim read and got the almighty hump, and picked up on an out of the ordinary trolling attack to justify their ire.
A smidge of caution maybe needed when gauging the content of an alternative forum?

@mumof56 think what you like but you were wrong yesterday stating that people on MNTrolls were Trolls. I explained why it was set up but you chose to ignore your error. You have more than once chosen to ignore various posters who have explained to you a Troll posted various threads last night on Reddit. The Reddit users were not discussing raping women or sluts. For clarity IT WAS A TROLL. I think your forgetting you actually ran across to MN to report the troll attack oddly enough 🙄

Come across to Reddit and discuss this there. I'm sure STRATTERS (and others you say commented) would be more than happy to converse with you.
