And now child rapists being spared jail because sex with girls who are a) under the age of consent and b) 'out of it' on the drugs they plied them with can apparently be 'consensual'.

I don't think the fact I used slightly incorrect terminology is the issue. These men were prosecuted for having sex with 14 year olds and found guilty. But given a suspended sentence for some bullshit reason about the girls being drunk and consenting. Despite the fact in law women who are drunk or on drugs are specifically protected due to their lack of capacity to consent.

It is horrific as a society 25 year old men can't be expected to keep their penis in their pants in the presence of drunk children. Absolutely disgusting.

Whilst disagreeing with the leniancy of some sentences and acknowledging the disproportionate harshness of others, everyone is entitled to a defense.

I really despair no hope. I am pleased to find people with same views here just wish did in real life. All use against you & yes victim blaming & also about false accusations. Oh the cab thing, weird. Bus also weird. Need to get back to driving myself. Too scared to leave the house.
