So embarrassed

Was at the in laws family do. About 8 people there and grandad was taking a picture of our 8 month old. I accidentally let out a big fart. My OH looked at me in shock then looked at the dog to try and put the blame on him. As did I. I think everyone in the room was pretty sure it was me though.

I’m mortified. We had to leave early to get DS to bed. Now I’m worried they were all laughing about me when we left.

Apparently when the King of Tonga was on a state visit he farted while sharing a carriage with the Queen. When he apologised the Queen said "Until you mentioned it I thought it was the horse"

Firsttimemom777 you are so cute! Made me smile reading this, as I have been there, but only in front of Mother in law and DH. It was so loud though and I was upfront about it saying Sorry that was me. Mother in law looked at me in shock and burst into a laugh, as she thought such a loud noise surely came from DH and not tiny me 😁 But hey we are all human and I’m sure we have all been there. So what if they laughed, surely they cannot laugh at you, you did nothing wrong, it is in our nature to do that and a sign of good health I will say. Hope you feel strong about that and embrace yourself, farts or not you are fabulous, we all are ❤️

You've got to front it out next time. Own that fart!

DH and I were in a pub in Dublin when I let out a Guinness-rich corker. It had resonance, tone, a musical trill at the end and the stench was vile. A man standing near DH told him he was fucking vile and should have gone to the loos and refused point blank that a female could have produced such a magnificent specimen.

Honestly you could have put a lead on it and taken it for a walk. Grin

My dad's a prolific farter and my mum gets mortified when he lets rip.

She's in hospital right now, and during visiting, Dad let a right ripper out that echoed as he was on a plastic seat. Mum's face was a picture of mortification.
