Another trans bully nightmare. Targetting the yellowberry bra brand now

lilymaynard.wordpress.com/2017/12/31/bra-gate-yellowberry-products-now-for-everyone/

When will this BS end?

You have always been a woman? What even when you were having sex producing children and entering men's competitions

And being part of the men's clubs in your workplaces and embracing male privilege and expecting women to do your shit work and carry your mental load and looking after other men at the expense of women? Yeah right.

MaisyPops · 03/01/2018 12:46

You mean the ones assigned female at birth?
But they may not he female. Maybe they had an invisible penis. Someone should have told those babies to self identify themselves out being a murder victim.

Peak trans is something I've only head since joining MN properly. I'm really starting to get it now.

Mummyoflittledragon · 03/01/2018 12:53

I was speaking to someone earlier, who said it’s a thing amongst certain MIT’s to dress up in very feminine clothing, make up etc and take photos of eachother dressed in this manner with their naked dick flopped out.

The mind boggles.

Gileswithachainsaw · 03/01/2018 13:00

Well there is of course the mental load of going out in a dress and heels and make up and realising that actually no one is giving a shit. So then you have to resort to suing everything and everyone that dares have anything specifically for women, all whilst screaming phobias and isms, just to ensure you have phobias and isms to scream about Hmm

Must be exhausting having to constantly create your own drama just so you can play the victim.

Datun · 03/01/2018 14:47

Must be exhausting having to constantly create your own drama just so you can play the victim.

Hell yes.

Why target women's swimming pools, tiny start up bra shops, feminist/vegan restaurants, feminist bookstores. All run by women, for women and all on a shoe string. Deliberately sought out and targetted.

Then go off alarming on social media claiming these poor women are responsible for, what is it? 'abuse, murder and literal genocide' of transpeople everywhere.

It's not even about the 'professionally offended'. It's actively seeking a position where you can claim offence in order to bully.

Gileswithachainsaw · 03/01/2018 17:18

What's next though.

The drs were all against them. They got their meds and ops.

The world was against them. No one gives a shit how they dress now.

Take over women's sports. Done

Then bathrooms and changing facilities. Partly done.

But these people cannot seem to cope without being in the public eye so what will they do now all they apparently wanted has been achieved

There is no where to go.

However will they cope

PositivelyPERF · 03/01/2018 17:38

There is no where to go

When addicts consistently get what they want, the buzz starts to wear off, so they go for something more extreme. Keep your children close, because they will be next. You think they already have them? Wait until your child's male doctors, nurses, social workers and teachers, amongst other, start wearing dresses.

No one thought a man would become a priest in order to access children, now we know it happens. (That's not to say all priests are perverts, btw, but deviants have always used positions of power to access the vulnerable)

Leatherbatwings · 03/01/2018 18:33

I do have a certain amount of sympathy for trans people, and feel uneasy with the amount of vitriol against them in this thread.

A small very vocal minority seems to cause the shitstorms. I dont think a person with a penis needs to be in women's changing rooms, bathrooms, sport. This brouhaha about bras is ridiculous. Erasing biological girls and womens needs is not the way for them to be included.

I could never see a trans person as their chosen sex, but what is wrong with being just trans? Why co opt woman.

I would love a civilized discussion with a trans person about this. Minus the nasty tone on this thread.

Ereshkigal · 03/01/2018 19:02

Maybe many of us on this thread are actively fighting this nonsensical misogynistic bullshit, and heartily sick of it? Most gender critical feminists started out as trans allies, actually.

Do you really think the women on this thread are cruel and bitter, vitriolic, leatherbatwings? Or are you disconcerted that women are angry and not being nice enough.

Leatherbatwings · 03/01/2018 21:16

I am a woman, was born a woman. Im not comfortable sharing female spaces with the bepenised.

However, im uneasy with totally alienating mtt individuals with such an adversarial approach.

I feel sorry them and their families. Just perhaps there should be more two way respectful dialogue. It might be more beneficial to everyone.

Datun · 03/01/2018 21:57

I feel sorry them and their families. Just perhaps there should be more two way respectful dialogue.

That's a little difficult when women are relentlessly no platformed, persecuted for objecting, threatened and beaten with the deafening mantra #NoDebate.

Ereshkigal · 03/01/2018 21:58

Happy to have two way respectful dialogue when it's offered. But it very rarely is. The misogyny of many transactivists is eye-popping, btw.

Leatherbatwings · 03/01/2018 22:15

Yes, ive seen some shocking misogyny from transactivists. Im aware most keep their dicks, and those that do really dont belong in womens spaces.

I cant see how a virtual war helps anyone. Its just going to alienate trans people further. The tone of the thread is not conducive to reasonable debate.

I saw some persecuting of the poor founder of yellowberry, for not conforming to radfem dogma. That wasnt on, either

Ereshkigal · 04/01/2018 00:09

It's not about "radfem dogma". I found her apology quite sickening. She didn't have to grovel quite so much. But yes of course I feel sorry for her. I think you'll find most of the persecuting was from the trans side.

thebewilderness · 04/01/2018 01:01

When the demand for tolerance and respect is consistently made to women but not to men it is not tolerance that is being demanded but submission.

Ereshkigal · 04/01/2018 01:02

Agree.

thebewilderness · 04/01/2018 01:06

I saw some persecuting of the poor founder of yellowberry, for not conforming to radfem dogma.
Let us find a female culprit for that exactly equal 3% to 97% balance.

DreamyMcDreamy · 04/01/2018 01:50

Boys can wear bras if they choose to. Just as girls are "allowed" to wear trousers instead of skirts and are allowed to have jobs like being a doctor instead of a secretary. It's not the 1950s, you know.

OK, it's late (early?) depending on your perspective and I haven't RTFT and this was the reply that stood out.
WTAF do boys need to wear a bra for? They've got nowt to put in them!
How on earth is it comparable to wearing skirts or trousers?

DreamyMcDreamy · 04/01/2018 01:52

I think it is shameful that the owner of this bra company has made a grovelling apology.

Aw no, really? They've done nothing wrong Sad

thebewilderness · 04/01/2018 02:29

I am not surprised that a woman being terrorized by a bunch of men is groveling. I only hope they will be satisfied and go the eff away.

UpABitLate · 04/01/2018 11:31

Hold on so of course she apologised immediately, with this stuff rape and death threats are common, she is a woman, she has a daughter, where she lives etc will be publically known because of her company, WTF does anyone expect her to do?

This is an absolutely prime example of how the violent / aggressive / scary actions of a small group of men benefit all men. In this case, the violent / aggressive / scary actions of a vocal minority of TAs means that people, mainly women, are too scared to do anything except fold immediately. We all recognise this from our daily lives and know that there are men out there who are more than willing to act. This is the basis of patriarchal control of women.

UpABitLate · 04/01/2018 11:35

Tell a lie, she hasn't got a daughter! She's got a sister. Who she probably also doesn't want threatened.
