Would your partner be offended if you asked them to wash their hands before having sex?

Do you believe most people in the world do? Honestly?

Ah, the world. I thought you meant this thread, the UK or even the West.

That's why there are hand washing campaigns. Because people forget hygiene. That's why many preventable diseases still spread.

Agree with Butchy. Depends on what they had been doing previously! Handling food such as raw meat,or digging the garden, yes definitely. Slumped in front of the telly, not so bothered.

I mean, you are advised to wash your hands thoroughly before inserting a tampon or a mooncup, because it's not advisable to put dirty fingers up your fanjo. So the same would apply to a sexual partner.

My ex sister in law used to change her baby's nappy, then without washing her hands, start preparing food for the family's dinner. I thought that was pretty grim thank goodness she's my ex SIL

Keep hand gel nearby.

riledandharrassed · 23/12/2017 20:52

LOL at sunshine being a disinfectant.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 24/12/2017 11:37

MadgeMak It is though... maybe not the best but it really does work as a disinfectant.

Heidimay · 31/08/2018 18:00

Without a doubt, it’s a matter of respect - hygiene issues can cause infections and all sorts of problems and a partner should be very considerate of this! X

Shrekless · 31/08/2018 18:28
