I can't recall how we got onto this topic but a man at work seems to think that two slices of bread with a filling and cut in half is TWO sandwiches.Hmm

Whereas I think two slices of bread with filling is ONE sandwich cut in half...

What day you ? Smile

Agree with you.

LineyRunner · 18/12/2017 20:39

I think it's a 'round of sandwiches' in A Land Where No-one Cares.

Unescorted · 18/12/2017 20:39

Tuesday.

What does he do if it isn't cut?

Soubriquet · 18/12/2017 20:39

Yes that's one sandwhich

But I also believe that one slice of bread folded in half and cut is one sandwhich too so I wouldn't listen to me Grin

MumGoneMild · 18/12/2017 20:39

Two slices cut in half is one sandwich.

borntobequiet · 18/12/2017 20:40

Oh no, not this again.

expatinscotland · 18/12/2017 20:40

It's one sandwich cut in half.

steff13 · 18/12/2017 20:40

What does he say if it's not cut in half? It's still two slices of bread, is it one sandwich then?

Janetjanetjanet · 18/12/2017 20:40

Here we go again.

Its one sandwich.

Sagethyme · 18/12/2017 20:42

This discussions been had before op, it became a bit of a bun fight IIRC! I agree with you two slices of bread and a filling = a sani, but many on here will disagree.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 18/12/2017 20:44

Bun fight: love it😁

justdontevenfuckingstart · 18/12/2017 20:44

Here come the puns!

cherrycola2004 · 18/12/2017 20:52

Oh sorry, not been on here long didn't know it had been asked before.

I am going to ask him though what he thinks it is if not cut in half.

Again sorry for being a bore Blush

Not boring, entertaining in a Groundhog Day sort of way. Ask him.

MiltonTheCockroach · 18/12/2017 21:03

I prefer a baguette.

UrsulaPandress · 18/12/2017 21:05

It's a round. One round.

lololove · 18/12/2017 21:06

oh lordy, my mum is the exact same - she can't get her head round it when I got confused when she asked for four sandwiches (ie: 2 sandwiches cut in half) one day because she was feeling hungry.

ColonelJackONeil · 18/12/2017 21:08

What if it's cut in quarters?

ferntwist · 18/12/2017 21:08

Do you fancy this bloke at work? Wink

VladmirsPoutine · 18/12/2017 21:08

I'm on the fence. Thinking about my Tesco meal deal isn't it 2 sandwiches.

putdownyourphone · 18/12/2017 21:12

It’s not ‘a round’! A round refers to ‘a round of sandwiches’ - but 2 slices cut in half isn’t ‘sandwiches’. Plus you don’t go to M&S on your lunch break and and pick up ‘a round’, you pick up a sandwich.

Summerk · 18/12/2017 21:13

2 slices bread = 1 sandwich SIMPLE
