to be shocked by these dresses on the red carpet?

Am I getting old or are these dresses completely outrageous? I am staggered that women would wear this style of dress. Men don’t dress with their scrotums on show!

On the upside, I bet you wear that get up and swan through airport security without getting an aggressive pat down.

RatRolyPoly · 01/12/2017 13:03

I don't think you can charge a woman wearing a risquee outfit with proliferating the view that women are only valued for their sexually available bodies Jaxhog. Should we all dress like nuns until all men get the picture?

RatRolyPoly · 01/12/2017 13:03

Grin upper limit

LakieLady · 01/12/2017 13:03

They've "invented" underwear especially for this type of dress.

For those on a budget, you can just use a panty liner the wrong way round.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/12/2017 13:06

Glamour, eh?

Get your party liner ready for the red carpet.

drizzletits · 01/12/2017 13:07

Lakielady

What happens when you use the loo? Does it lose its sticky effect?

I have no other words on the fashion choices of the women, other than I hope they don't look back in regret. My eyes are shocked.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/12/2017 13:10

Oh I just got that.

I thought pantry liner wrong way was bottom to front, not sticky side up.

Blimey.?

Garlicansapphire · 01/12/2017 13:11

Plaster stroke panty liner. Do they need to put on new one each time they have a wee?

I do think its a bit sad really. I love seeing women dressed glamorously but I'm not sure why they need to wear such ugly clothes, they're not sexy, pretty, chic or edgy at all, just fugly. And pretty breezy too.

And risky I'd say. Not much protection for your bits if they spill their cup of tea!

TeamEponine · 01/12/2017 13:13

Surely she could afford to get some fake tan on that outline of her bikini bottoms to try and make it blend in?

I'm sure I remember this being a trend somewhere in South America, perhaps Brazil?

They use electrical tape as a kind of tape on bikini to make sure the tan lines are as obvious and as sharp as possible.

I don't get it...

coddiwomple · 01/12/2017 13:14

I think its sad, because I found these dresses absolutely hideous and only worn to get a few line in the press. It's sad, because that's the only thing they could think about to get some attention.

Increasinglymiddleaged · 01/12/2017 13:19

There'll be a few left on the sale rail at M&S

morningconstitutional2017 · 01/12/2017 13:21

Ridiculous. Maybe they hope for better roles in the future and to be taken seriously as actors - I hardly think so.

Perhaps this is just one of the reasons why M&S is selling 'modest clothing' to counteract this nonsense?

dorsetapplecakeforever · 01/12/2017 13:22

I think we should know who designed these hideous dresses - name and shame them as they must really hate women .

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 01/12/2017 13:23

Haha at my flaps would be waving at the paps

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/12/2017 13:31

Dreadful.🙈

MayFayner · 01/12/2017 13:32

What's next? Turning up to a do with nothing but a sequin on your clit?

Grin

Joan Rivers (yeeears ago, talking about short skirts) said "what's next? Two band-aids and a cork?"

She was kind of right about the band-aids huh.

Fekko · 01/12/2017 13:33

Well those frocks wouldn't make the new M&S Modesty range would they?

I'd need a pair of long johns to keep warm.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/12/2017 13:35

Oh I don't know coddi, sometimes celebrities borrow and return dresses.

Not keen to buy a pre loved free range minge one by mistake.

Flippetydip · 01/12/2017 13:35

I quite like them. I'm considering similar for my Christmas work-do.

Actually forget that, the winter plumage is just too much to tame at the moment.

Just kidding, they are beyond hideous and actually made me feel slightly nauseous

HateSummer · 01/12/2017 13:43

The second one looks like she’s got a vagina wedgie. They’re both hideous like something Cinderella’s step sisters would wear.

missbattenburg · 01/12/2017 13:44

My flaps would be waving at the paps!

This is, quite literally, the funniest thing I have ever read on mn. Bravo!

AssassinatedBeauty · 01/12/2017 13:46

I think someone should try not removing their pubic hair and wearing a dress like that. There's a whole area of opportunity being missed for pubic hairstyles/colours/accessories to set off the look. They could start a trend.

BanyanTree · 01/12/2017 13:51

Hope it wasn't windy or that could have been embarrassing.

MsHarry · 01/12/2017 13:51

That is horrid. Who is she? No m&s 'modest' clothing for her! Wink

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2017 13:52

Mumsnetter TheSecondComing was ahead of her time and trailblazed this sort of fashion
