Am I getting old or are these dresses completely outrageous? I am staggered that women would wear this style of dress. Men don’t dress with their scrotums on show!

I noticed a link to several celebrities wearing similarly hideous dresses this morning. I would never wear something that hideous around the house, let alone in public! This will be remembered as a really bad fashion decade for these dresses alone!

MrsJayy · 01/12/2017 12:32

Oh yes hygene reasons bleurgh. They are dehydrated for dress purposes there is no peeing

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 01/12/2017 12:35

Good god. The least the woman in orange could have done was fake tan down there.

Apileofballyhoo · 01/12/2017 12:35

Aren't all these excesses reminiscent of the Roman Empire? We even have the oddly incestous comments from the US emperor.

VanillaSugar · 01/12/2017 12:35

Liz Hurley wore a dress like this to Henry PoshyPoshy's wedding. You could see her leopard print knickers.

Iwanttobe8stoneagain · 01/12/2017 12:37

Not shocked but just threw up a little in my mouth. Quite frankly they would have looked less trashy naked

CaledonianQueen · 01/12/2017 12:38

swap celebrities for models, this isn't the link but the pink dress is even worse!

Liz Hurley knickers

MrsKoala · 01/12/2017 12:40

I read once that porn stars painted on tan lines to make them look ‘cheaper’ and draw attention to the relevant areas (although one would think if someone was watching porn they wouldn’t need an eye catching flangina to get their attention! ‘Oh is that the place I’m meant to be concentrating on?’). Maybe it’s something like that?

Anyway. Us peng ting types wear frocks like that to Lidl. Laterz Haterz.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 01/12/2017 12:41

I think the operative word there is “knickers” VanillaSugar.

None of these ladies have put their pants on.

MrsJayy · 01/12/2017 12:42

You can see flappage in the pink dress

therealposieparker · 01/12/2017 12:42

It's hideous, I also hate dresses that normal folk wear that shows below the cleavage, Amanda Holden loves this particular style.

AdoraBell · 01/12/2017 12:44

OMFG

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 01/12/2017 12:44

They are horrific! They remind me of those really high leg leotards from the eighties, but they were worn over shorts/leggings.

Those women genuinely look a bit demented to me, as if they have left the house without remembering to put anything on their bottom half.

Maudlinmaud · 01/12/2017 12:44

Seen these before and I'm sorry to inform you all but they have most definitely become a thing, this style filtered down to Towie and other z listers.

coddiwomple · 01/12/2017 12:45

isn't it sad that it's the only thing they found to get a bit of attention?
They are far from ugly,

Well, we do have a Duchess who is famous for wearing the floattiest dresses on public occasions, and whose bum has been photographed on many public occasions and shown around the world. What do I know.

blueskyinmarch · 01/12/2017 12:49

At least Liz had the decency to put her scants on!

RatRolyPoly · 01/12/2017 12:50

Is it "sad" to use your body to get attention... when you're a professional model?? Anyway I think for a lot of people - men AND women - it's part and parcel of being young, regardless of whether or not it's in your job description.

LouiseBrooks · 01/12/2017 12:52

Ok I haven't read RTHT but who are they? I bet they are not well known which is why they're out looking like that.

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 01/12/2017 12:53

A Who is always desperate for attention and they got it, so well done them?

PortiaCastis · 01/12/2017 12:54

Crikey how long did you have to look before you found those pics from over a year ago

Vernazza · 01/12/2017 12:55

There is one word for those dresses: FUGLY!!!

AssassinatedBeauty · 01/12/2017 12:57

They're not "sad" and it's not the only way of getting attention but it certainly is very easy if you've got the body for it and are happy to show it.

It is interesting that there really aren't men turning up to things like this wearing very little. They might wear an unconventional outfit, but not one that is flesh-baring.

Jaxhog · 01/12/2017 12:58

Gross attention seeking tbh. It also reinforces the view, in some people's minds, that women are just there for men's titillation. Not for their minds, acting abilities or any other abilities. Just for their sexually available bodies. No wonder the likes of Weinstein think all women are game

RatRolyPoly · 01/12/2017 12:59

I think that's got more to do with how women and men respond differently to bare flesh on the opposite sex, but that's just my theory. Also, the men have the attention by default in a professional sense I reckon.
