Taking inspiration from the other threat running.

My DH is very hard to buy for.

His hobby is mountain biking but he has some health issues At the moment which stop him from doing that.

He has recently gone on a much needed shopping spree and so has pretty much a new wardrobe.

He has just bought a new tv wit some inheritance.

He has an iPad and fancy headphones.

He doesn’t really do books.

He has a leather hold-all and wash bag I bought a few xmases ago.

I do not know what to buy!!!!!!!!

What are you buying for your other halves? Inspiration needed!!

So far...green and blacks chocolates.

Also have the 'birthday close to Christmas' issue and we've been together 20 years so hard to think of what he doesn't have Confused

TheSnowFairy · 24/11/2017 17:09

Oooh liking the bathsheet idea!!

honeyroar · 24/11/2017 17:09

I know it's motorbikes not mountain bikes, but how about tickets to Arenacross? It's indoor motocross and acrobatics- he might enjoy it.

Tinselistacky · 24/11/2017 17:11

We just do each other a stocking with a tenner limit. So less stressful!!

For Xmas DH is getting new lenses for his camera and malt whisky.

#broken - that is quite possibly one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. And I want it! But he would see that as a present for me. Which he would be fine with probably lol

No idea whatsoever. He has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer so the tickets to see his favourite comedian next November seem a bit insensitive. He has a nice new leather overnight bag and wash bag for hospital, new slippers and dressing gown, and I bought him an iPod for his birthday. He doesn't really enjoy reading. I would love some suggestions - he has no energy for his interests any more and isn't interested in food or drink any more which is a huge deal as he has always been a foodie Sad

loveisevol · 24/11/2017 17:35

I've bought my oh morrissey tickets. He idolises the man, has done since he was a teen.
I am going with him to the concert. Woo, I can't wait to go and listen to a grumpy miserable old man singing in his weird voice! I'll fake the happiness!!

goose1964 · 24/11/2017 17:35

We can just abou afford clos e family presents so we're not doing big presents, he's got a nice of liqueur chocolates

DarkLikeVader · 24/11/2017 17:35

I nicked this idea off another mn thread I think - dh is getting a bacon delivery subscription as part of his present! 🥓

Aweektilltheseason · 24/11/2017 17:36

I am quite prudish in bed and I have decided to go a bit wild and brought him some sex toys from Love Honey ! They had a massive sale on, so got a few bits. I thought it beat the usual socks etc Grin Blush and it will be a real surprise for him and us. Spices up life a bit Grin

Mandraki · 24/11/2017 17:37

Bought him tickets to see Joe Lycett, comedian. Also going to get him a new fluffy dressing gown, a shirt, some fancy gingerbread, sweets chocolate etc and if I see a nice aftershave that isn’t too pricey I might get him that.

TieGrr · 24/11/2017 17:37

A Kindle Fire and possibly a new rugby hoodie if I can find a nice one. Socks as well, of course, and maybe a game or book or something as well.

howdoyoudecide · 24/11/2017 17:37

Andnone - I am so sorry to hear that. I don’t think I have any good suggestions. Maybe a weekend away somewhere?
