because I haven't got any clue. Literally no ideas at all.....and people are going to ask me what I'd like, and I'm just going to sound like an idiot saying, "I don't really want/need anything" just like I do every year.

So please tell me what you want so I can pass it off as my own opinion....

My list:

Clinique face whizzy brush thing
Clinique mild face wash
Liz Earle cleanse and polish
A Boden bretton long sleeved top

My husband asked me to send him this list as he does every year and I can guarantee I'll not get one of the above items! Grin

Noofly · 24/11/2017 15:07

Small amount of Lindt d’Or
Gin- up to DH to surprise me with a new one

This is really just so the DC have something to give to me. I don’t really like “stuff” and am at the point where if do I want something, I just go buy it myself- would be quite happy not getting anything!

Floellabumbags · 24/11/2017 15:07

what ARE you planning with that lot?

Mass destruction!

I do silversmithing so basically hitting bits of metal with hammers then burning them so I can hit them some more. I have an angry soul, it's a good outlet.

I suggested this to DH
www.knivesandtools.co.uk/en/pt/-le-creuset-signature-casserole-cocotte-24cm-4-2l-green.htm?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shop-ALL%3A%20Algemeen&utm_term=1104800074506&utm_content=Shop-PK%3A%20Non-Brand

but he said that it is an everyday gift not a christmas gift. Not sure he knows how much they are, with that response.

I love getting magazine subscriptions to things like Country Living. I also love jewellery in all its forms.

noeffingidea · 24/11/2017 15:18

Morphene we had a nintendo wii. We had a lot of family fun with it. I don't know about a jungle exploration game though, you would have to look for that.
We were more into physical games, like wii tennis and wii fit (need the balance board for that).

GrumpyOldFucker · 24/11/2017 15:18

@ScribblyGum fab looking game, where did you hear about it? DH and I are very into board games.

On my dream list

Titanium cyclocross bike
Premium Bellicon rebounder
Electric sports car
Top end gaming laptop
Canada Goose coat for our winter break

On a more realistic note

Japanese veg knife
Amethyst pendant, modern
Accessories / top to go with my purple brogues
Minimal wallet (I prefer men's ones) to hold 3 cards and coins
Silk-filled duvet for the camper
Scribbly's game
Replacement fitflop "slippers"
Fair isle jumper
Sunspel kilt

Anatidae · 24/11/2017 15:20

Diamonds
Jewellery
A new overlocker
That amazing down parka I saw a while back

noeffingidea · 24/11/2017 15:21

If money was no object I would ask for a turntable (record player) and all the wonderful 70's 'vinyl' (records) I once had access to, and took for granted.

Morphene · 24/11/2017 15:28

World peace and a massive bag of weed

Well if we are going for the hard stuff then what I would really really like for xmas is another 3 or 4 series worth of stargate universe....and if someone could make the rest of firefly while they are at it then that would be great.

Proper functioning teleportation would be pretty cool too.
