because I haven't got any clue. Literally no ideas at all.....and people are going to ask me what I'd like, and I'm just going to sound like an idiot saying, "I don't really want/need anything" just like I do every year.

So please tell me what you want so I can pass it off as my own opinion....

A 5 stone weight loss :(

Bottle of Pernod
Opium perfume
Yard boots
Horsey socks cos I’m a kid at heart

pollymere · 25/11/2017 20:43

I asked for a necklace I saw in Oxfam...it was an expensive one though!

Barbara1956 · 25/11/2017 21:13

Definitely the new Pink CD

KidsRuinedMyLife · 25/11/2017 21:22

I want/am getting a pure highway 600 dab radio adapter for my car, it will revolutionise driving, can't wait!!

Plainlycrackers · 25/11/2017 21:22

Really interesting reading this as DH has just asked me what I would like... I never have a clue...
I might ask for Turtledove cashmere wrist warmers as they and the fingerless glove version (wrist warmers but with a separate thumb but not separate fingers) went down very well when I bought them as gifts... particularly good for people with arthritic wrists as

Jux · 25/11/2017 21:25

Books books books books books books books books books books books, or failing that a GoPro thing which I can then give to dd and pretend I got it for her.

Or books.

Rugratwrangler · 25/11/2017 21:31

I've asked for Final Fantasy games that I don't already have.

Barbara1956 · 25/11/2017 21:31

A Whole Fucking month away from my Aspergers husband...God help me !!!

TheOriginalMagratGarlik · 25/11/2017 21:35

Kevlar motorbike leggings. I suspect that they are probably not on everyone's "must have" wish list though.

Plainlycrackers · 25/11/2017 21:38

Oops... cont’d... cold really makes creaky joints ache... also good for people with FM or just outside in the cold a lot but need there hands unencumbered by gloves!
A ‘mum’ coat sounds like an excellent idea... touch line essential!!
Already told to just buy the new pan I need - he now refuses to buy me house stuff like kitchen & cleaning equipment 🙄
Had garden stuff last year... and a dressing gown...
really really like the DAB converter for the car idea but will have to check it is viable... v old car😕
New boots would be nice...but have to find those myself...

And herein lies the rub... I don’t really know what I want and those ideas I do have involve me choosing and trying on and I hate shopping...,

Some peace and quiet and a day or two of not having to think about the mundane things that keep the family afloat and just read would be awesome fat chance of that

ichbineinstasumer · 25/11/2017 21:40

well haven't rtft, but has anyone else mentioned an oilskin bag for your clothespegs? Saw one in Lakeland and quite wanted it...

Plainlycrackers · 25/11/2017 21:41

*their hands
😖😫off to shoot myself for that error🤭

EliseC1965 · 25/11/2017 21:45

I didn’t have a clue this year, so I’ve given links to DH, whenever I see something I like. I don’t ‘want want want’ anything so it’s bits and pieces. I got myself the m & s advent as he refuses to get things like that :/
But I’ve asked for the new Molton Brown shower gel in Russian Leather. It smells so manly lol. Illamasqua and Morphe palletes that we’re on sale yesterday and the Estée Lauder beauty box when it came out for breast cancer month.
My mum’s getting me an Amazon voucher so I can get books :)

It gets harder every year as I have everything.

BinkyBuntyFintyCunty · 25/11/2017 21:47

Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette
60 second journal
Perfume
Hourglass blusher
Bamboo socks
Neom room spray

...All lovely treats that no-one else would choose/buy for me

BinkyBuntyFintyCunty · 25/11/2017 21:50

Oops wrong thread...they're presents I've bought myself!

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 25/11/2017 21:56

I’d like what I asked for last year.

A large candle in a glass vase which smells lovely and has 4 wicks.

I even told him where to buy it but I ended up with a massive church candle Grin no fragrance at all!

Fingers crossed for this year

officerhinrika · 25/11/2017 21:59

Marrons Glacé, only ever at Christmas
Fluffy bed socks with no elastic
Someone to put the new bathroom blind up
Chocolate dipped cherry stuffed figs
Chocolate dipped candied orange peel
A staffordshire pottery greyhound
In my defence I’ve been on a diets for aaages.

marymoosmum · 26/11/2017 00:02

I booked a holiday for in between Christmas and my birthday, my mum and dad are gave me some towards it and are then going to give us some spending money as mine and my DH's Christmas presents and my birthday, as we don't need/want anything and would rather the holiday. I also tend to say vouchers for pets at home to keep my rather large cat fed.

Dahelle · 26/11/2017 09:56

New running trainers
Lindt
iTunes vouchers
Books
Bare minerals make up
Possibly a pandora charm (but this is always my fall back when I have no idea what I want I ask for these, my plan is to give my daughter the bracelet and charms when I have accumulated loads and she is older)
I like the idea of Nat Geo subscription those mags are pricy but I always fancy getting them.
Hope you like your actual presents OP!

ladyvimes · 26/11/2017 09:58

A decent eyeshadow palette and a steam mop.

goodeyebrows · 26/11/2017 12:25

Ghds, my old ones broke
Uggs, my old ones have a hole in them
A 'mother' sweatshirt
Some new t-shirts
A new pj top, my husband dyed mine pink with his red trousers
A Fitbit
A new expensive mascara
A new top
Socks
I'm probably lucky if I get 2 of these

StylishDuck · 26/11/2017 12:32

DH is getting me a new pair of Nike trainers (have sent him a picture already so there's no confusion!)

Other than that I would like:

New PJs
Leather gloves
Greys Anatomy Season 13 on DVD

I'm due a baby on Jan 3rd so a nice bottle of prosecco or 3 for when I can drink again would be good.
